No Account Unless You Tell

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla does not order things that are not in our capacity to carry. He ﷻ orders what we can do. Whether accepted or not accepted are the things that you do. You won’t be asked about the things you don’t do or that you think of. Shaytan puts various thoughts in people’s minds. As long as you don’t do them, there is no ruling for them.

Just as when you have a bad dream, it doesn’t have any ruling if you don’t tell anyone about it. No need to be afraid of it. If you do some badness with your tongue, hand or leg, or whichever part when you go outside, you will be held accountable and be punished then. But there is no ruling and punishment for things that you have inside you as long as you don’t let them out or tell anyone.

Therefore, people must be at rest. Muslims must be at rest. They should not take a burden of useless things upon themselves. The same with dreams. If you have a bad dream, don’t tell anyone. Don’t tell about your bad dream to people who can’t interpret it well. Because however you interpret it, it will happen that way. When Sayyidina Yusuf ‘alayhi s-salam interpreted the dream even though they lied about it, it turned out the way he had interpreted. Therefore, we must pay attention to that. People say, “I see bad things in my dreams every night.” Don’t tell it. Unless you tell about it, it has no ruling, because dreams are of all kinds. If there is someone who can interpret it well, have it interpreted. If not, keep it to yourself. Don’t create a trouble. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ make them the means to goodness.

Shukr to Allah ﷻ, our Lord does not burden us. ‘ ’, ‘Lā yukallifu Llāhu nafsāan illā wus’ahā’, ‘Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.’ (Qur’ān 02:286). “I don’t give anyone a burden that he cannot carry,” says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Shukr to Allah ﷻ for this. Otherwise, if we were punished for our every thought, we wouldn’t be saved at all, as our condition is already bad. Shukr to Allah ﷻ. He ﷻ is Rahim and Rahman.
