Always Make Dua

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

‘Id’ūnī ‘Astajib lakum’, ‘Call upon Me; I will respond to you.’ (Qur’ān 40:60). Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying, “Make Dua to Me, and I will accept your Dua.” The word of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is true. People say “We made Dua, but our Dua is not accepted.” Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says the Dua is accepted. Dua of the Mu’min is accepted. Dua of Kafir is not accepted. ‘ ’, ‘Wa mā duā’u l-kāfirīna ‘illā fī dalāl’, ‘But the supplication of the disbelievers is not except in vain.’ (Qur’ān 40:50). Sadaqa Llāhu l- ‘Aẓīm. If Kafir makes Dua, his Dua is not accepted. He doesn’t have Iman. As he doesn’t have belief, his Dua is not accepted. Only the Dua of Mu’mins is accepted.

Mu’mins say “We make Dua, but our Dua is not accepted.” Our Holy Prophet ﷺ says “Your Dua is certainly accepted.” Even if your Dua is not apparent here, the Dua that goes to Akhirah is much more beneficial than the Dua accepted in this world. Our Holy Prophet ﷺ says Dua in Akhirah is as such that people will wish “If only our Dua was not accepted in this world but remained to Akhirah.” It is that beneficial.

Some people say “Because our Dua is not accepted, we won’t make Dua.” It is an order. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “Make Dua.” It is an order., “Supplication is the pith of worship”, says our Holy Prophet ﷺ. “Dua is the heart and core of the worship,” says our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Therefore, making Dua is always beneficial. It is not good for Muslims to lose hope. Only Kafirs lose hope in Allah ﷻ. Mu’mins must not lose hope. They should always make good Dua. They should not make evil Dua. They should always ask for goodness so that if it is accepted in this world there will be great goodness. If it remains to Akhirah, it will be even better.

May Allah ﷻ accept our Dua insha’Allah. May we not fall into hopelessness. May we not lose hope in Allah ﷻ insha’Allah. Losing hope is from faithlessness. May Allah ﷻ protect us.
