Time of Dirtiness

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Madad Ya Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari. Madad.

A‘ūdhu biLlāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

“Žahara l-Fasādu Fī l-Barri Wa l-Baĥri Bimā Kasabat 'Aydī n-Nāsi”, “Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned.” (Qur’ān 30:41). Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying everywhere is corrupted and spoilt. Seas and land are spoilt everywhere. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla had created them as clean. He ﷻ had created everything as beautiful. How are they spoilt? How did they come to such condition? Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says that is by the actions of people. These vast seas, oceans and land; there is not a clean place anywhere.

People are saying, “We are cleaning like this and like that. We are eating clean food.” But actually, all of them are dirty and bad. They are not good. The matter mentioned by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is appearing openly now. No need to be a scholar or a scientist. There is nothing left anywhere that is not dirty. Why? Because of people’s actions.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created the best and gave us the best. And Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla told us to do the best. But there is shaytan against Him ﷻ. Shaytan is telling to do the worst; “Do the dirtiest thing. Do in the most harmful way.” Allah ﷻ has given mind and understanding to mankind. He ﷻ created mind for mankind so that they use it. No other creature has as great mind as of mankind. You may see a giant man, but the brain is so small. There is not only mind in the head, but there is also mind in the heart. The mind in the heart and in the head must show the good. It

shows the good, but what blocks that is the ego and shaytan. They block the mind of people. They show the good as bad and the bad as good. If you want to do something good, they prevent you. If you want to do something bad, there is no obstacle. Contrarily, they applaud you. They praise you and help you to do badness. This is seen so openly now that everyone can see it. Yet, no one is able to prevent his ego. And many people go after their egos. Going after their egos means they go on the way which ends badly.

In order for everyone to see the condition of this world, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla - Scholars and scientists are making research. Even though they say “We have polluted the world so much. We have polluted the seas so much. There is no clean place anywhere,” mankind keeps on polluting in the same way anyway. Where does it come from? From spiritual dirtiness to physical dirtiness, it goes through the same channel and same path.

A clean person lives in a clean place, eats and drinks clean things. In order to be clean, going on the way of Allah ﷻ and on the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ by believing in Allah ﷻ and by believing in our Holy Prophet ﷺ brings spiritual and physical cleanliness to people. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla also says in Qur’an that Mushriks are not clean. It is clearly [said]. He ﷻ says, “Innama l-Mushrikoona Najas”, “Indeed the polytheists are unclean.” (Qur’ān 09:28). Why are Mushriks dirty? Because of the spiritual dirtiness of their sins. They order badness. You may do all the badness, not recognize the big and the small. But if you get married in a permissible way, they find you a fault and punish you. But if otherwise, do all kinds of things, but beware for it not to be permissible. If it is permissible, it is a big fault. Shaytan will be very angry. If you make Nikkah, he will be very angry. If you make Zina, he will be very happy. If you do I don’t know what, he will be very happy.

Whatever badness there is that you can’t imagine, it has appeared in this time. Why did it appear in such a way? Because it is the end of times. All kinds of badness must appear so that it becomes clean. If badness and dirtiness is not visible, there is no need to clean. But they have brought up all badness now. Why? Because there is no one to stop them. The whole world is under the control of shaytan. Therefore, they punish those who go against him. Either governments, or individuals, or Jama’ah; whoever it is, unless they go on their way, they don’t accept them. And they harm them in all ways. Therefore, this must happen. This is necessary in our time.

We are right in the middle of the end of times. And everyone feels its badness. How shall we protect ourselves from it? Protection is by seeking refuge in Allah ﷻ, by being together with Awliya’ and the good people of Allah ‘Azza waJalla., “Allah’s ﷻ Hand of Power is upon the community”, says

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Be with the Jama’ah, gather with good people. Spend time with them. And stay away from those who are not good.

Sayyidina Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Efendi says not to listen or look at bad things. He used to always say that. “Such a man has appeared. He says such things. He interprets Qur’an as he likes. He misleads people out of the way.” Mawlana Shaykh Nazim would say not to listen to him. His stock is to do this disgrace for people to listen to him in wonder. Don’t listen to him. A good person is good with good people. With bad people, he won’t even reach the level of animals. Animals’ customs and principles don’t change. But those of people change. The man ten years ago used to have more Adab than now. The man twenty years ago had more Adab than now. When we look at the passing time, people are not getting better but worse. Why so? Because they’re used to seeing the bad and considering it as normal. It is not normal. The things that are done are abnormal. Normal is cleanliness, goodness and beauty. Badness is insolence and shamelessness. They are not good. They don’t bring benefit to people. Badness has never brought any benefit to people.

Some people say, “Let us satisfy our egos a bit. Let us dull out our egos, and then we’ll…” You can’t dull it out. If you pour fuel on fire, can you take it out? It will get worse and worse. As you pour more, it will get worse. You pour on fuel and diesel, but they don’t extinguish. What extinguishes it is seeking refuge in Allah ﷻ, being with good ones, looking after your prayer, worship and family. If you look after the outside, you won’t get any benefit, but you will always have loss. And you will drown in the dangerous waters of this time.

We are living in the end of times. Everything of the end of times is dangerous. In return, if you leave it and be for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ, that is a great blessing, and you will attain great Thawab. Just like it is 100,000 more valuable when you pray and give Sadaqah in Makkah, it is the same when you commit a sin. It is counted as 100,000 sins. But in other places, they are equal. Therefore, this time is the time of trade. It is the time to earn the pleasure of Allah ﷻ and the favor of Allah ﷻ.

Everything has its end. Nothing is everlasting. The end of this world is already near, because the technology that we see and this and that - the time Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave it has come, and their (secret) opened. Otherwise, mankind has been saying for a thousand years, “We’ve learnt this. We’re learning this slowly slowly”. It is not by learning slowly slowy. The permission of Allah ﷻ has come just now. He ﷻ has opened the door of technology for mankind since 100-150 years. And they have spoilt this world completely with it. Nothing is left to benefit from in this world; neither trees, nor soil, nor water. They’ve finished up everything.

As they’ve finished them, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla will say, “They have used up everything. It is useless now.” So He ﷻ will send the Sahib in order to clean it. Firstly, the spiritual cleansing, then the other one has no difficulty. Nothing is difficult for Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim used to say the biggest badness is the concrete in these buildings. These concrete buildings - When Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam comes, there will be a spiritual cleansing first. And then these concrete buildings will be unrooted in one night and thrown into the oceans. The beautiful old-styled houses will be built in their places. Everything will be cleansed with them. This world will return to its original state with Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam. The original state of this world is as Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created it - clean and beautiful everywhere. It will be the same when Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam comes. Certainly, this will happen 30-40 years before Qiyamah. People will go wild again after that. And Qiyamah will take place after that.

Therefore, being patient in this time will benefit everyone. The best benefit is in being with good people, being patient and going on the way of Allah ﷻ, and in not interfering with others. Whoever is destined is taking. If you are not destined to have it, you may strive as much as you want, “I want to show the right way to people. I want to do that.” As long as Allah ﷻ gives guidance - you see that people come from far places, you get surprised. As long as Allah ﷻ wills it, it happens. May Allah ﷻ let us remain with the righteous ones insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ give guidance to people, because guidance is from Allah ﷻ; we can’t do anything.
