Don’t be Cheated by Dunya

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 10:24). ‘Ĥattá 'Idhā'Akhadhati Al-'Arđu Zukhrufahā Wa Azzayyanat Wa Žanna 'Ahluhā'Annahum Qādirūna Alayhā'Atāhā 'Amrunā Laylāan 'Aw Nahārāan Fajaalnāhā ĤaşīdāanKa'an Lam Taghna Bil-'Ams’, ‘Until, when the earth has taken on its adornment and is beautified and its people suppose that they have capability over it, there comes to it Our command by night or by day, and We make it as a harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday.’ Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying as this world has taken its ornament and has become beautified, people say “We do don’t need anyone anymore.” They say, “We did it. We adorned this world. We made roads, streets and various things. We did a very perfect thing.” They think everything is perfect. But Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying “When our order comes, there will be nothing.” He ﷻ will make it totally flat. The place where there was everything yersterday will become completely flat. There is a day when human power will be nothing next to the supremacy of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

Everyone is claiming they control the world these days. They say they are doing everything and striving to do even more. They are doing this and that. However, when Allah ﷻ wants it, when the order of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla comes, everything will be gone like garbage. There will be nothing. What will remain is the Iman of Mu’mins. Mu’mins live for Akhirah, not for this world. Dunya doesn’t cheat them. No possession of this world, nothing from Dunya has any value in the Mu’mins’ hearts. Because they know that the promise of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is true. Nothing here has any value and power next to the will of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

We are living in this life. But it is important that we rely on Allah ﷻ and trust Him ﷻ. It is important for us to carry out His ﷻ orders. This world will be gone eventually this way or another. It won’t remain to people. It doesn’t remain for you when you close your eyes anyway. In order to give a lesson for people, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla said this in holy Ayat in many places of Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan. But people are heedless. They are heedless and ignorant. They may be educated. There are ten universities on every street in this world. There are thousands of professors and teachers in every place. But they have no value at all unless they recognize Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. All of them are ignorant.

‘Alim is the one who knows Allah ﷻ. Who doesn’t know is the ignorant. He may be as educated as much as he wants. The order of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla will prevail. This world should not cheat us. May Allah ﷻ protect us from the evil and possessions of this world. May we be His ﷻ servants insha’Allah. May He ﷻ grant us paradise in Akhirah insha’Allah.
