The Virtues of Surat Al-Kahf

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Friday is a blessed day. May it be blessed insha’Allah. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says Friday is especially the best among other days. As our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is the best among people, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla granted the best things to our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Being from his ﷺ Ummah is a great honor and a great favour from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

There is the Wazifah of Friday to earn more virtues like Ghusl of Friday and Sadaqah. There is Surat al-Kahf to be read before Friday or any time of the day. Reading it brings light from Friday to Friday. And graves are filled with light. Graves are completely dark places. When mankind passes away, he can do nothing but suffer in that darkness. If they read Surah al-Kahf or listen to it, their graves will be full of light and there won’t be the harshness of darkness. It is one of the gifts of our Holy Prophet ﷺ to us, because the grave is the place of loneliness and fear. No matter how Mu’min or Muslim a person is, in order to remove the darkness of grave, he should either read, or listen to it every Friday. Actually, it is better if it is before Jum’ah, but it is ok any time during the day on Friday.

Surat al-Kahf has a lot of virtues. Who reads the first and last Ayat will be protected from the evil of Dajjal. Dajjal will appear in the end of times. And as we are in the end of times, the appearance of Dajjal is a big sign of Qiyamah. In order to be protected from him, we must read Surat al-Kahf. When we read the first and last pages of it, we’ll be protected from the evil of Dajjal with the permission of Allah ﷻ. There are many Dajjals now. But the main big Dajjal who is blind hasn’t appeared yet. He is waiting. And many people are waiting for him. If you look, the rest who are his helpers and (small) Dajjals are appearing every day. They are increasing in number.

What is the attribute of Dajjal? It is to show the bad as good and the good as bad. May Allah ﷻ protect us from his evil. May Allah ﷻ protect us from their bad conditions. Because they attack our Iman. They want to take us out of the religion and Iman and turn us into atheists and Kafirs. May Allah ﷻ protect us from their evil. The method we’ve mentioned will protect people from their evil. May Allah ﷻ help us insha’Allah.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

There are recited Qur’an Khatms, Shukr to Allah ﷻ. There are Surahs, Yasin, Ayat, Salawat, Tasbihat, Tahlilat. They sent them to us for gifting from all over the world. We gift them firstly to our Holy Prophet ﷺ, his ﷺ Ahlu l-Baht and Sahabah, the souls of all Anbiya, Awliya, Asfiya and Mashayikh, souls of our late relatives, souls of Muslims and Mu’mins. For goodness to come and evil to be far away. For the strength of Iman, for abundance of Rizq and for it to be Halal.
