Tawakkul is Iman

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim:

“Kullu shay’in bi-‘amri Allah”, “Everything is by the order of Allah.” Everything is in the Hand of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla in this world we are living in. Allah ﷻ does what He ﷻ wants. Nothing is difficult for Him ﷻ. There is nothing impossible for Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

Who relies on Allah ﷻ will be in comfort. Who doesn’t rely on Allah ﷻ will be uneasy. What is Tawakkul? Tawakkul is Iman. Who believes in Allah ﷻ relies on Allah ﷻ more and feels at ease. Therefore, Iman is a big Ni’mah. It is the biggest blessing given to people. Without Iman, nothing has any benefit. Even if it is worldly, there is no benefit. You may have the whole world, unless you have trust and Iman, you won’t have any peace. You will think about how to preserve this world and lose comfort. You will lose your sleep thinking about how to not let it slip through your fingers.

Without trust and Iman, nothing has any value. The value of Ni’mah is with Iman. Without Iman, nothing has any benefit. Therefore, Mu’mins rely on Allah ﷻ even if they don’t have anything. And with Iman, everything is good for them. Everything is good for Mu’mins. They don’t complain about anything. And they don’t feel uneasy. But without Iman, they can be uneasy about everything. Nothing makes them feel they’ve got what they wanted completely. Whatever they want to do, they do it for their egos. But it doesn’t bring benefit to their egos as well.

May Allah ﷻ protect us. May He ﷻ give us strength of Iman so that we see everything as beautiful. Everything from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is beautiful. As a holy one said,“Mevla’m görelim neyler, Neylerse güzel eyler”, “Let’s see what God does. Whatever He ﷻ does He ﷻ does it best.” Awliya said this in old times. Mu’mins listen to it and know it is good tidings for them. May Allah ﷻ give strength to our Iman insha’Allah.
