Spiritual Dirtiness

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:, “Žahara l-Fasādu Fī l-Barri Wa l-Baĥri Bimā Kasabat 'Aydī n-Nāsi”, “Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned.” (Qur’ān 30:41). Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying everything is spoilt in this world. Because of what people are doing, this world is spoilt and corrupted. It is not corrupted just now. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is telling that it has been so since the time of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Because of what people do, it has been like this since over 1,400 years. And how it is now? The situation is clear. Everything is spoilt.

In the beginning, the earth was spoilt. And then seas got spoilt. Why? Because people are spoilt, they got spoilt too. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave this world to mankind as clean and suitable for living so that they live as such. He ﷻ gave it for them to live in comfort and [then go to] ākhirah.

First comes cleanliness. The condition for that is cleanliness. And cleanliness comes from īmān. Unless there is īmān there is no cleanliness. , “Innama l-Mushrikoona Najas”, “Indeed the polytheists are unclean.” (Qur’ān 09:28). Mushriks are not clean. Cleanliness comes with īmān. And that comes by following the way of Islām. People must walk on that way. What does Islām order? What does our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam order? He ﷺ orders goodness and cleanliness. He ﷺ orders to show respect to everything.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ used to remove dirt on his ﷺ way. It is ṣadaqah to remove dirt. Not only giving money is ṣadaqah, but also removing the stones from the ground is ṣadaqah. Paying attention to water, trees, plants and everything is also ṣadaqah. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wasallam says in his ﷺ ḥadīth sharīf, “Do not pass urine onto water." There is a curse on the person who passes urine on water. A curse is something big.

People of the present time claim to be environmentalists, but they have nothing to do with it. Everywhere is full of their dirt. That is the apparent dirt. The spiritual dirt is even worse. Much worse. Therefore, this world has reached its peak, its time is over already.

The one to clean it is going to come. The one who is going to clean the apparent and the spiritual dirt is Mahdī ‘alayhi s-salām. Everything will be cleaned with him. When all the kufr, all this perversion, all badness are cleaned, earth will be full of barakah and goodness once again then. In the time of Mahdī ‘alayhi s-salām everywhere will be green and beautiful. Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim even used to say that sheep will give birth to lambs twice; fruit will ripen in the best way. Why? Because it will be clean. As long as there is apparent and spiritual cleanliness there will be this situation.

Before that, people may claim to be conservationist as much as they want, they have all kinds of dirt. They have all kinds of dirt and much worse dirt spiritually. Therefore, they will never be successful. They cannot be successful. They are cheating people and getting benefit.

May Allāh ﷻ protect us from the evil of bad ones, from the evil of those who don't believe in Allāh ﷻ. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. Their evil spreads to people around them. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. We ask that Allāh ﷻ gives guidance to them. If He ﷻ doesn't, Allāh ﷻ will do as He ﷻ likes, in shā’a Llāh.
