By Their Barakah, Rain Falls

3 min read

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “Bihim tumṭarūn, bihim turzaqūn, bihim tunṣarūn.” “Rain falls upon you by their Barakah. Rizq (provision) comes to you by their means. You reach victory by their means.”

These Abdāl (subsitutes) are among the greatest of the great Awliyā’. He ﷺ says that through them, Allāh ﷻ gives you rizq, rain and victory. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ it means that it happened today by their pleasure. It’s been a while; there hasn’t been much rain here this year. There was a strange drought. But Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, with the barakah of Ramadan and the du‘ā’s of the believers here, this rain has occurred as an acceptance of our Ramadan, with the permission of Allāh ﷻ. All the worship and good deeds were accepted by Allāh ﷻ.

Allāh ﷻ will give us their reward both in this world and the hereafter. Just as He ﷻ gives this beauty in dunyā now, He ﷻ will certainly give more in ākhirah. What’s given here is nothing compared to ākhirah. The things given in dunyā are not even as much as dust compared to ākhirah. Ākhirah is what is important.

This rain in this time is good for the body and good for the spirituality. For a spiritual person who does what Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says and commands, it also has great benefits for his spirituality. If someone doesn’t know Him ﷻ, he knows for himself. Whoever wants - ‘

’, ‘Fa-man shāʾa fa-l-yuʾmin, wa-man shāʾa fa-l-yakfur’, ‘So whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve.’ (Qur’ān 18:29), says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘aẓīm. Whoever wants, let him believe;

and whoever wants, let him not. Whoever wants can be a believer, whoever wants can be an unbeliever, whoever wants can be an atheist, whoever wants whatever they want; they know for themselves.

Therefore, some people ask why these favors are also given to unbelievers. Because it has no value. This world has no value. Not only does it not have the value of a drop of water, but the whole world doesn’t have value as much as a mosquito. What is the value of the mosquito’s wing? Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created the mosquito as a test for people. Even killing it has a reward. Because it is a pest that causes harm. But the point here is that this world has no value. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla does not give anything valuable to the unbeliever. The believer benefits in both. The believer benefits. The unbeliever does not benefit himself. He wants the harm with his own hands.

May Allāh ﷻ bless this month of Ramadan. Allāh ﷻ accepted it, in shā’a Llāh. May it be blessed upon us all. May you have many happy years, in shā’a Llāh. May the next year be more beautiful. How can it be more beautiful? With Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salām. This world becomes more beautiful when the whole world fasts. This world becomes beautiful when the whole world worships. In shā’a Llāh we are hoping. The promise of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is true. His ﷻ word is true. It will happen, in shā’a Llāh. We hope and make du‘ā’ that it will be soon, in shā’a Llāh. May Allah ﷻ bless you.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
