Happiness is in Asking His ﷻ Pleasure

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla has beloved servants. The beloved servants of Allah ﷻ are the people who reach bliss and happiness. We must ask for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. In everything, in every action, in every breath we must ask for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. Asking for that means making Dhikr of Allah ﷻ, remembering Allah ﷻ. He who remembers Allah ﷻ becomes from Dhakirin, from those who don’t forget. His ﷻ grace and generosity will be upon him.

People have dived into Dunya. They don’t remember Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla at all. Dunya made people busy with itself. The deeper people dive into Dunya, the more they want from it. They forget everything and obsess over Dunya. They go after Dunya. As they go after Dunya, they distance themselves away from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. We must not put Dunya in our hearts. We should use Dunya for goodness. We must not follow Dunya but use it for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. Otherwise, the person will perish.

The situation of this world is clear. People are miserable. No one is at rest. No one is content with this life. Content ones are those who are together with Allah ‘Azza waJalla. They are the people who are always pleased with what comes from Allah ﷻ and remember Him ﷻ. Otherwise, there is no benefit and no hope for humanity.

Allah ﷻ created people and told them what they must do. But they don’t do that, and do other things instead. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim: ‘ ’, ‘Wa-ma Khalaqtu l-Jinna wal Insa illa li-Ya’budun’, ‘And I

did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.’ (Qur’ān 51:56). “I created Jinns and people in order to perform worship.” People don’t believe in this and don’t think why they were created. They don’t know why they were created. No one asks “Why am I here? What was I created for?” They think they are created only from their parents and that there is no Creator. Therefore, they are never at rest. No matter what they do, they don’t feel at rest.

People who ask for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ are at rest. They are pleased with what is given to them. Whatever happens, they know it comes from Allah ﷻ. They ask for the pleasure of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And who ask for the pleasure of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla reach happiness. May Allah ﷻ make us from them insha’Allah, because the state of this world is difficult. May Allah ﷻ protect us from the evil and badness insha’Allah.
