Undying Hearts

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

There is a Dua of Sayyidinā Abū Bakr, “ .” Meaning, O Allāh ﷻ forgive us for what they are saying. Don’t blame us for what they’re saying. We are not saying this. We are not claiming we are something.

We are only, al-ḥamdu liLlāh, Allāh ﷻ sent us to look after people who are in the way of Allāh ﷻ through mashāyikh, through such a huge – Mawlānā was saying many times: king size. Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī is a really great one. In one hundred years, two hundred years, there cannot be one like him. But al-ḥamdu liLlāh, he is still in action. We are nothing. All of this, the gathering here is through him, through his Barakah. This is what he said: when awliyā’u Llāh pass away, they are seven times or seventy times (more) stronger than when they are alive. For this, he is not a normal awliyā’u Llāh. He is a very dear man of Allāh ﷻ.

We, many of you al-ḥamdu liLlāh saw him in dream. You see him - Now there are not many of who met him, but many of you saw him in dream. With his blessing, he is coming. This is his Majlis, not our Majlis. Because we are, I must say, not deserve this. But al-ḥamdu liLlāh we are trying; not trying but depending on awliyā’u Llāh to give what the lover of Allāh ﷻ needs. They give him from His ﷻ rewards, from Allāh’s ﷻ rewards, from Allāh’s ﷻ blessings, from Allāh’s ﷻ Barakah.

Our Majlis is valuable. There is water, “Mā’u l-ḥayāt”, “The Water of life.” Sayyidina Musa ‘alayhi s-salam is looking after this water. “Who drinks is not dying”, he said. This means our heart is not dying. When you drink from this water, this is the most important thing - It is giving life, water of life, “Mā’u l-ḥayāt.” Many people are looking for this. But awliyā’u Llāh have this. Their heart is not dying. Those following them, also their hearts are not dying. The whole time looking, making dhikr for Allāh ﷻ. Their love for our Prophet ﷺ in their hearts gives them

this life. This is what we are hoping, and we are knowing that those who come to this Majlis, like this Majlis, will in shā’a Llāh get benefit from this.

Because we are living in a time – they said before Mahdī ʿalayhi s-salām there will be drought, no water for maybe many years. This world is like this. Now there is drought from the real water. In the whole world, there are very few places where you can find this water. People are not running to drink, to end their thirst with water. They are running away, running to desert, running to the other places. They thought they will find something but they are near them yet they don’t find them.

Once we were in Palestine, may Allāh ﷻ save them. One man was taking us from - mā shā’a Llāh we were coming to Nablus. Nablus is a very blessed city also. There are many dervishes, many Maqāmāt there, and they love ṭarīqah. This man, the tour guide, said when we came back, “You Sufis, your Majlis is very little, maybe 300, 500, not even a thousand. But when our people are doing a Majlis, 30,000, 40,000 people are coming there.” This is because people are running away from the real thing, going for something – if they are sincere, Allāh ﷻ will help them. In shā’a Llāh Allāh ﷻ make them sincere after this. Because other people are also Muslim but going through the idea of… I don’t know what kind of an idea is this! It is prohibiting the love of Prophet ﷺ, the love of good people, Ṣāliḥīn (righteous ones).

So it is like this. A little bit of people, very few people are in the way of Allāh ﷻ. Others also, but they are misguided. They are misguided, but why are they too much? Because we can say that they are not dangerous for shayṭān. They are helping maybe without knowing; helping the enemy without knowing what they are doing. If they are sincere and they are in the way of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, nobody can touch them. Our way is the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. With Allāh’s ﷻ protection, nobody can beat you.

Al-ḥamdu liLlāh we are making [Dua], praying for all Mu’mins, for all Muslims. Because these people thought they will finish Islām, finish Muslimīn. But Allāh ﷻ will send from this water, “Mā’u l-ḥayāt”, “The Water of life” for the heart of Mu’mins, Muslims and they will be safe in shā’a Llāh. No fear, no fear for who is with Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

This has happened many times. It has happened many times. The kufr thought they will finish Islām and take away from earth any Muslim, but they did not succeed. This has been happening since Prophet ‘alayhi s-salam and after him; or maybe after him it was a little bit. After that, it [happened] many times. But all

the time, every time they are coming with huge armies. The ones defending, Allāh ﷻ threw them away.

For this we are not in fear, we are not hopeless. Everything in the end will be for us. This is a test for the ummah. We must, the ummah must ask for Madad from our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Don’t say, “He ﷺ is dead, he ﷺ cannot do anything.” No, he ﷺ is not dead, he ﷺ is alive. If the shahīd is alive, how then will Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam be dead! This is ridiculous! They are not understanding and they are harming themselves. To harm themselves, ok, they can harm [themselves]. But they are also harming other people.

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla in many places in the Qur’ān says, when the Mu’mins thought there was no hope, nothing, Allāh ﷻ sent His ﷻ support and victory came for the Mu’mins. Insha’Allah this time also. Not only in Palestine - what’s worse than Palestine is Sudan, India, Bangladesh or Burma. Everywhere, they want to finish Muslims. They even want to finish all Muslims. How do they finish them? They are making this Fitnah to not respect Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. This is the most dangerous trick for them. But also, who follows them, who is cheated by them will be punished also. Mawlānā Shaykh was saying there is an arrow of revenge coming from Allāh ﷻ. It can take [hit] you from among a hundred people. If you had around you a hundred people, it is coming for you. Nothing can prevent this arrow from coming to you.

For this, be careful O Muslims! Many Muslims are cheated. I hear from here, some of them are going out of Islam, some of them are denying Hadith, some of them are denying the Qur’an. This is what is happening. All of these thought themselves they’re clever, but the arrow of revenge can take them. Don’t put yourself in front of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and say, “I am strong, I am knowing.” Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will take revenge from you. This is sure.

Some are saying, “We don’t want this.” Why do you not want this? “It is not good for us.” Why? “Because this man is saying this. That one, we heard from him this.” Do you believe this? Yeah, they believe, but they do not believe the true one. And when Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla asks them, they will have no answer. And when there’s no answer, there will be regret in a time when regret will be of not benefit for anyone.

For this, we are trying to be with good people. Good people in shā’a Llāh, as Shaykh Aziz was saying, from good people they can benefit from their good smell, good presents. They will be in shā’a Llāh good.

But good people must also be careful with people who do not - You can speak once, if they insist [on their opinion], no need to run after them. There are thousands of people, thousands of friends: each one has a capacity. You can tell him and he will benefit from you. But if he is not like this, if he is stubborn, don’t make any speech with him. It is better to be away from him. As Aziz was saying a good friend, good people are like the perfume seller. And others are also like a blacksmith. If you go there, you’ll smell as a bad smell or you will burn your clothes. This is what will happen. But if they accept, they will be clean. After that, they can be better in shā’a Llāh.

May Allāh ﷻ help us. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. Our heart is burning when we are hearing what these people - not only young ones, shayṭān is riding on all of them. Old or young, everybody is running after their desires thinking, “This is doing. That is doing. Why are we not doing? Maybe it is okay.” No, it is not okay. When you make something, black is coming upon you. [Doing] a second thing, black is coming upon you. And you will be all dirty, you cannot clean yourself.

For this, to clean yourself, ask forgiveness from Allāh ﷻ and say, “I don’t want to do what I’ve done. O Allāh ﷻ, forgive me.” Allāh ﷻ forgives. Allāh ﷻ forgives. Even when you ask forgiveness, He ﷻ forgives you and changes your sins to reward. This is what Allāh ﷻ promised. And sin is very heavy. Maybe people thought, “There is no heaviness. I’m like this [light].” No, it is heavy; very, very heavy. But when you take it and throw it out, and Allāh ﷻ rewards you from His ﷻ generosity, you will be in shā’a Llāh happy and better. Much better because you win. You win the reason of your life. Allāh Azza wa Jalla created you to put you in Jannah, because we are coming from Jannah: from Sayyidinā our father Sayyidinā Ādam, Sayyidatinā Ummunā Ḥawwā. They are from Paradise. We are all from Paradise. Don’t go away from Paradise like shayṭān made them. He cheated them and they were thrown from Paradise. You also, you must not be cheated and stay in Paradise in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ help us.

We are in a time, a very difficult time. But also Muslims are not hopeless because there is good tidings from our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam on what will happen in the end of times. When everything becomes worse, worse and worse, Sayyidinā Mahdī ʿalayhi s-salām will come and change this oppression to justice. Justice is the best thing for human beings. With justice, the whole Islamic country was the best in the world. Even until the end of it, until the Khilafah (Caliphate) finished. Until that time, there was justice. After this, it finished.

Tyrants came. We thought the tyrants were Mussolini, Hitler, Stalin, Lenin. We thought these were tyrants. There are all continuous tyrants. There are appearing tyrants, hidden tyrants. Now we have hidden tyrants. It is worse than before! You cannot breathe, they are on your neck. For this, we are living in a time of tyrants. But after this time of tyrants – also Prophet ﷺ was saying, after “Jabābirah” meaning tyrants, Sayyidinā Al-Mahdī will come and clean all this. Nothing will remain in shā’a Llāh. We hope it is very near in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ make us to be with him in shā’a Llāh, to see these good days in shā’a Llāh.

May Allāh ﷻ keep you all safe, because it is difficult time. But it must be so. It is not in our hand, not in our will. This is Allāh’s ﷻ will because we believe, our āqīdah, belief is what Prophet ﷺ is saying: it will happen. All what he ﷺ said ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam will happen. Now some of them have happened. In shā’a Llāh Allāh ﷻ keep us safe until we see these good days, when the world is without oppression, a world with justice in shā’a Llāh.
