Winners in Every State

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

May Allāh ﷻ bless you and bless us because we are gathering for the sake of Allāh ﷻ, for the love of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, for the love of mashāyikh. When Mu’mins are together, Allāh ﷻ showers His ﷻ mercy and blessings upon this gathering, this Majlis. He ﷻ is generous and He ﷻ has endless generosity and mercy and whole beauty. He ﷻ is not afraid for this to finish.

For this, we are happy for this gathering to happen. Allāh ﷻ willed for us to be together here, and His ﷻ will is to reward us in shā’a Llāh. Because all these people are here today, not that it is the weekend or they have nothing to do. They are just coming, leaving their houses and coming for the sake of Allāh ﷻ. So Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will reward them shā’a Llāh.

We are imitating the Mu’mins, the Ṣaḥābah in shā’a Llāh. We are in their way, way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Which is the reason for our creation, why Allāh ﷻ created us. Many people are saying, these philosophers, “Who am I? What are we doing here?” Eh, this is not from yourself. The Creator is Allāh Azza wa Jalla. He ﷻ created us and He ﷻ put us in this earth. The Mu’min, believer must be at rest and happy for this. Because when somebody is not knowing who he is and what this life is, what’s the purpose of this, he will be unhappy, not happy at all.

Believers must be happy. But nowadays they are affected with the nonbelievers. Non-believers are suffering from this ignorance. The believers also imitate them, doing what they are doing, thinking what they are thinking. After this they say, “I have stress. I’m not happy. I’m unhappy. I'm not knowing why I’m like this.” Believers are doing this. This is not the believer’s thinking, not the believer’s way, not the Mu’min’s way. The Mu’min’s way is to accept what Allāh ﷻ gave him, what Allāh ﷻ granted him. He must be happy and thankful for each breath he is taking in this life.

Many crazy people also say, “I want to die. I want to kill myself.” This is also a very bad thing. This is not acceptable. To have one breath outside on earth is better than a thousand years under earth. There was in the time of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam two ṣaḥābah. They are from the same tribe. They became Muslim together and they were practicing everything. Of course, in the time of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam; tahajjud, all Sunnahs, farḍ, of course, all of this. They were doing a hundred percent of what Allāh ﷻ ordered us. There was a battle and one of them became shahīd. The other one was alive. After one year, he also passed away. He got some illness and passed away. One of the ṣaḥābah saw them in his dream. He saw the ṣaḥābah who passed away [with illness] after the shahīd, that he is higher than the shahīd. He was astonished and asked Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, “How can this be?” Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam said, “In one year, he was praying, practicing, worshipping. In one year, because he is alive, he became higher than the other.”

For this, every breath we take in this life is very precious for us. We must know this. We must thank Allāh ﷻ for this. And in every breath you remember Allāh ﷻ, this is the dhikr of Allāh ﷻ. Dhikr means remembering. Whether by mind or by tongue or by everything you are remembering Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, Allāh ﷻ makes you in a higher and higher degree.

This is very important for the believer. In order not to have a time to be bored, they have many things to do. But what they must to do, what’s important is to remember Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. If you’re just in order not to be bored playing here, there, everything, television. There are many things now making people to be away from worshipping. All night they are looking at this machine and when the time for praying comes they are sleeping, or not even sleeping. Now also they cannot sleep. Some of them are day and night looking at this machine like hypnosis, not thinking about anything else.

This is what is happening in our time. And this is making people more unhappy, having more darkness inside them, darkness in their thinking. But the Mu’min who is with Allāh ﷻ must know that everything is for our benefit. He is winning. He is winning reward from Allāh ﷻ. If he is happy, he is winning. If he is not happy, also winning. If he is crying, winning. If he is laughing, winning. Because he is with Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. But who is not a believer, there is no [winning]. Only suffering without any benefit.

For this, the believer must know what Allāh ﷻ gave them and thank Allāh ﷻ for what He ﷻ gave us. This is a big Ni’mah, a big favor from Allāh Azza wa-Jalla. Allāh Azza wa-Jalla is giving every chance for people to get from this jewel, from this precious thing. He ﷻ is not afraid for it to finish.

But people, as we said, are sleeping., “Wa Hum Fī Ghaflatin Mu`riđūn”, “While they are in heedlessness turning away.” (Qur’ān 21:01). They do not realize. Ghaflah meaning not knowing what Allāh ﷻ will give them. And He ﷻ gave them but they are still running after their desires, after what their ego wants. And after this, they are saying, “We are not happy. We don’t love this life.” And they are looking at people to make them happy. Running after shayṭān’s game, which is making people forget Allāh ﷻ and depend on some people which are in reality not even honest people. They believe them, and do not believe good people. Because good people are not giving them lies, not lying to them. But bad people: everything is a lie from beginning to end. And they are happy with this. After that, they become in regret. Even in this dunyā they become in regret. For Ākhirah, it’s worse. May Allāh ﷻ keep us safe from these people in shā ‘a Llāh.

This is the time when everything is upside down. They see the good as bad. They see the bad as good. They are not loving the honest ones. They are happy with the dishonest ones. This is the end of times and in shā'a Llāh it will change. We don’t have any power with machines or weapons or economic or anything. We don't have. We are minus zero. But what we have is (more) stronger than these weapons, all of these weapons. We have du'ā', praying. This is the most effective one. When the time comes, all this weapon will be finished with one prayer. They cannot use it. In shā'a Llāh we are waiting for this time and it looks very near. Because the oppression, injustice, every bad thing has come to the top (peak). After the top, it must go and finish. We are waiting for this. We have good tidings. We believe in this. We are believers. We believe in this, in our belief of Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jamā'ah. This must happen. Because everything Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam told us has appeared. Only a few things are left and in shā'a Llāh this is the time for them in shā’a Llāh.

We hope to be in this good time, time of justice. Justice is the most important thing for human beings. When justice comes, everything becomes good because there’s nobody oppressed and nobody oppressing. When this happens, people become happy, nobody cursing the other. And it will be Barakah and happiness. And of course before Qiyāmah, Judgment Day, there must be a time for this, a certain time, maybe forty years. After this also, because human beings have

this ego, shayṭān which will be here until Qiyāmah. For this, only for a short time, forty years. After forty years, again coming. And after this, Allāh ﷻ will send some smoke and all Mu’mins will pass away. Only the kāfirs will be there again and this Qiyāmah will be on them. And after this, in shā'a Llāh, Mahshar, and in shā'a Llāh Jannat Al-Firdaus.

Wa min Allāh at-Tawfīq. Al-Fātiḥah.

This is for the Mu’min. They must be happy. We are going to a good place.
