Follow What Allah ﷻ Accepts
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Thank you for coming insha’Allah. The last time I was here, it was a different mosque with different people. AlhamduliLlah this time the mosque is bigger and people are more and more AlhamduliLlah. We are happy to see people; they are coming more to mosques, Dergah and Ibadah/worship. This makes us happy. A Muslim must be happy with what Allah ﷻ is happy with. The Prophet salla Llahu a’layhi wa sallam said,. Which means you will not be a real Mu’min/believer – Muslim, you can be a Muslim, but Iman is different – until everything you like is as what the Prophet salla Llahu a’layhi wa sallam likes. This is Iman. And this is what we need to make our Iman stronger.
Prophet salla Llahu a’layhi wa sallam liked NimatuLlah/ The favors of Allah ﷻ – whatever Allah gives, he ﷺ liked. When he went to a house of a poor Sahabah, the Sahabah didn’t find anything to feed them, he only has vinegar and bread. The Prophet ﷺ said that this is very nice food. Another Sahabah heard this, he was rich and offered the same food, but he ﷺ said this is not good. That [poor] one, was good because he had nothing and it was delicious. But if you can offer better and you didn’t offer - this is not good.
Everyone can make Allah ﷻ and Prophet salla Llahu a’layhi wa sallam happy according to what he can do. If you can do more, you can be more happy. If you cannot do, also good because your intention is to imitate Prophet salla Llahu a’layhi wa sallam – to be happy with what he ﷺ is happy with, and to not be happy with what he ﷺ is not happy with. If you do good things, you must be happy to do this. If you do bad things, you must not be happy. Even if some people do a sin, they must not be happy and they must make Tawba/repent and Istighfar/ask for forgiveness from Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla.
This is what Tariqah, Shariah, the Sahabah and Ahlu l-Bayt teach - to do good things and not to harm anybody, not to oppress anybody. This is for human beings also; you must be good. Because now people, the whole world is under the control of something which has been spread from east to west. Everywhere you see the same. All people are thinking about the same thing – what they like, what they don’t like, what they must eat, what they must drink, what they are wearing. They are controlling people in all of this.
For this, we must look if it is acceptable for Allah ﷻ, and Shariah and Tariqah. If it is, then you can. But if not, then don’t accept this and don’t do it. Be strong. Have a strong will to not follow that. Follow what Allah ﷻ accepts. But maybe in some things, because these people put good and bad together, so everyone thinks that some things are good but most of them are not good. Some of them are good – you can take. But do not be like people, they are following without thinking and without looking. This makes our Iman weak. And when you make your Iman weak, later on you finish your Iman.
Iman is very important, to be Mu’min/believer. Because Allah ﷻ loves the Mu’min and looks for him with mercy. This is our aim. May Allah ﷻ make us happy with what He ﷻ is happy with, and with what the Prophet ﷺ is happy with. And May He ﷻ make us to not be happy with other things. If you see something and you cannot do anything, [at least] we are not happy with this. May Allah ﷻ help us and help you.
Before, we were saying that we are living in a time when it is difficult to control your children here in the West, but now even everywhere, Muslim countries also became the same. May Allah ﷻ send the Sahib, Sayyidina Al Mahdi to finish all of this insha’Allah. But we must also do as much as we can do to make our belief stronger and our Iman stronger insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ help us. May Allah ﷻ save us and protect us and Muslims, especially young children for all of them to be safe from Fitnah of Akhiru z-Zaman – Fitnah of the end of times.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
