Division is the Tool Against Muslims

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

First of all, our ṭarīqah Naqshbandiyyah is in giving ṣuḥbah and in being together. Ṭarīqah is the heart of Islām, not outside of Islām. Because many people maybe when you say “ṭarīqah”, they say there’s no need for ṭarīqah. Alhamdulillah, here in Aceh, mashaAllah, they are the heart of Islām in this area. And they are teaching ṭarīqah, most of them are in ṭarīqah, in shā’a Llāh. And this area was the heart of īmān. They were teaching that in Madrasah, in this whole area. ‘Ulama and Awliyā’ came from this area. Through these people of ṭarīqah and Awliyā’, all people followed ṭarīqah. Because ṭarīqah means īmān. Ṭarīqah means īmān. Because it is said in Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, ‘ ’, ‘Qālati l-‘A’rābu ’Āmannā, Qul Lam Tu’uminū Wa Lakin Qūlū ‘Aslamnā Wa Lammā Yadkhuli l-‘Īmānu Fī Qulūbikum’, ‘The bedouins say, “We have believed.” Say, “You have not [yet] believed; but say [instead], ‘We have submitted,’ for faith has not yet entered your hearts.’ (Qur’ān 49:14). Also, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, there will be people who know the Qur’ān by heart, they know ilm, they know everything, but what they write and read only reaches their throats, not reaching their hearts. Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said these people will leave Islām just as the arrow leaves the bow. They don’t have īmān. Īmān is with ṭarīqah. Ṭarīqah teaches īmān, gives to the heart. Because īmān comes from the heart.

For this, all your ancestors since a thousand years ago were all following ṭarīqah to keep their īmān strong. They were defending Islām here against the kuffar (disbelievers). For this, Allāh ﷻ also helped them and sent help with the Ottoman Sultans who were murīds of a Shaykh. For the sake of Allāh ﷻ, he sent his army to teach these people how to defend, and they sent ‘ulama also to protect people, to show them. Because the Portuguese kāfirs came through South Africa with ships also. They came to this side, and they were intending to reach the Ka’bah and to destroy the Ka’bah. During this time, Sultan Suleimān Qanuni was ruling; whom they call “Suleimān the Magnificent.” He ordered to build warships to defend the Ka’bah and to defend the area starting from the South, all this area. Because the kāfir never has mercy in his heart. The Muslim is the opposite. They have mercy even for their enemy. If they ask to surrender and say “Don’t touch me”, the Muslim cannot touch this one. For this, they spread East and West. So

when they made this fleet, they protected all this area as much as they could. Of course, they couldn’t completely protect it, but most of the areas, your area was protected.

This is how strong īmān is. When somebody has īmān and has a murshid showing him the way, they protect all Muslims. The Ottoman Sultans were khalīfahs of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Khalīfah (Caliph) means to represent Allah ’Azza wa-Jalla, to represent Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. He is the head of Islām. So all the Muslim world was with them, looking for their order. Whoever came against the Sultan will be asked on Yawmu I-Qiyāmah: “Why did you come against the Sultan?” It is not good, a big sin upon these people. With all this power he had, he was listening to his Murshid, his Shaykh, to what the Shaykh was saying. He would ask the Shaykh: “I will do this. Is it in accordance with ṭarīqah, with sharī’ah or not?”

Unfortunately, when the khilāfah (caliphate) finished - now it’s been finished for more than a hundred years, there hadn’t been a khalīfah for Muslims. For this, you see since after the last khalīfah, all the shayātīn, devils appeared and threw their fitnah East and West. What happened? You see after that, you can compare using your mind what Islām was at that time and what Islām is now. The people of shayṭān divided the Islāmic world, the whole world into small, small places to control them. Of course, we know the kāfir is not a friend of Muslims; it’s clear. We know the kāfir is our enemy, okay. But what happened after they divided all these countries? In the same country they became enemies to each other. But Allah ’Azza wa-Jalla says, BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Raḥīm, ‘Innama l-mu’minūna ikhwa fa-‘aslihu bayna akhawaykum’, ‘The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers.’ Ṣadaqa Llāhu l- ‘Aẓīm. (Qur’ān 49:10). Allāh ﷻ says and orders all Muslims that they are brothers. Make peace with each other. But it’s difficult, it cannot be, because they made too many huge enemies to each other.

So, this is a big problem. And only one thing can fix it. In shā’a Llāh, this is what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam gave as good tidings. One from his ﷺ holy line will come to fix what’s happened in the world. And to fix means to make the whole world say “La ilaha illa Llah Muhammadun RasuluLlah ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.” This is Wa’du Llah (the promise of Allāh ﷻ.) Wa’du Llah Haqqun (the promise of Allāh ﷻ is true). Allāh ﷻ promised this promise. It must appear, in shā’a Llāh. The whole world will be Muslim. As Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said, “Aslim Taslam,” “Submit, you’ll find peace.” Peace is only with Islām, nothing else. All those are saying “Peace” are liars. They are cheating people. Only with Islām that there can be peace. In shā’a Llāh, soon.
