The Claim of Grave Worshiping
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
[…] Better than everything anybody has in this dunyā. This is the best favor from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Because this favor of being beloved for Him ﷻ is a favor forever; not only for a short time in this dunyā. Many people have something in dunyā; maybe they are very rich, they’re very powerful, very effective, but they don’t have anything for ākhirah. These people are poor people. Because richness is not to be so for a little time and after that nothing. AlhamduliLlah, you have, and we also have insha’Allah the ni’mah, favor, richness forever.
AlhamduliLlah we are gathering here for the sake of Allāh ﷻ and near one of Awliyā’u Llāh who came here for serving, for khidmah for Allāh ﷻ, serving people to guide them to also be rich forever; not only for a short time. And they have done very much for this country, for this land, for Islām. For each one they brought to guidance - Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, if any one attains hidāyah through you, it is more valuable than this earth and what’s inside it. Not only a small place, a small country or continent; but the whole world is nothing compared to what Allāh ﷻ will give.
We are coming to visit these people upon whom Allāh ﷻ showers His ﷻ mercy. This mercy AlhamduliLlah also comes upon those who visit them and ask Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla through them to accept their du’ā’, through Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. These people are all acceptable people in the Divine Presence of Allāh ﷻ. For this, we are not asking from them. We are asking through them. This is how many people are cheating other people saying, “These people are worshipping graves. They are not worshipping Allāh ﷻ.” Ḥāsha! (far from that). AlhamduliLlah, all these people are coming through these blessed people to Islām; not by themselves. And these blessed ones are not saying, “Come worship me.” They’re only saying, “Worship Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. We guide you to Allāh ﷻ, to paradise. Follow Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and what he ﷺ said, you will be in paradise.” Nobody is saying “Worship the Prophet ﷺ.” Nobody is saying “Worship me, worship the graveyard.” No.
All this is pure Islām and they are the highest, the real believers, they are the real Mu’mins. Because there is Mu’min and there is Muslim. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, ‘ ’, ‘Qālati l-‘A’rābu 'Āmannā, Qul Lam Tu’uminū Wa Lakin Qūlū ‘Aslamnā Wa Lammā Yadkhuli l-‘Īmānu Fī Qulūbikum’, ‘The bedouins say, “We have believed.” Say, “You have not [yet] believed; but say [instead], ‘We have submitted,’ for faith has not yet entered your hearts.’ (Qur’ān 49:14). The ‘Aa’rāb, bedouins said we have believed. Allāh ﷻ says, “Don’t say you have īmān, only say you are Muslim.” Īmān is (more) higher. And īmān comes through these people. They put īmān through the hearts of people and make them higher.
Whoever has īmān, real īmān, nothing affects him. Even if they throw him in fire, nothing affects him. Even if he doesn’t find anything to eat, also nothing affects him. Even if he’s about to die from thirst, also nothing affects him. Because with īmān, he knows Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will give him. And what’s important in īmān is that you must know: ‘ H,’ “Āmantu billāhi wa malā'ikatihī wa kutubihī wa rusulihī wal-yawmil-ākhiri, wal-qadari khayrihi wa sharrih,” “I believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and in destiny (divine decree), both its good and its bad.” Everything is from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This is īmān. Every morning we recite this. The rule of īmān is to have full belief in Allāh ﷻ that when anything happens: not to be sad, not to be anxious, not to say “Why?” Sometimes we see many people who say, “Why me?” This is why. Because you are not Mu’min, you are only a Muslim, so this is happening. And you will suffer, you will be sad, you will be unhappy, you will be asking, making bad adab towards Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, asking “Why me?” Who are you to ask Allāh ﷻ “why me”! This is the most craziness. The most mindless ones are those who ask “Why me?” Because Allāh ﷻ. You cannot say this for Allāh ﷻ. You cannot run from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. In dunyā, in ākhirah, and everywhere: you are in the Hand of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. There isn’t any place to run away.
For this, may Allāh ﷻ forgive us. May Allāh ﷻ make us to not be in bad adab or badly behaved towards Allāh ﷻ and what He ﷻ gave us. May Allāh ﷻ bless you. May Allāh ﷻ keep us. May Allāh ﷻ increase you more and more, believers, mu’mins, in shā’a Llāh gathering here, gathering in all Malaysia, in shā’a Llāh, in the whole world, in shā’a Llāh.
Wa min Allāhi t-Tawfīq. Al-Fātiḥa.
