O Believer, Don’t be Upset!
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
(Qur’ān 03:139). ‘Wa-lā tahinū wa-lā taḥzanū wa-antumu l-ʾalawna in kuntum muʾminīn’, ‘So do not weaken and do not be sad, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers.’ Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says: “Do not consider yourselves inferior to others, to the disbelievers.” Do not look at disbelievers and feel disheartened; if you are a believer, if you are a Muslim, your rank is higher. In the sight of Allāh ﷻ, a person’s worth is determined solely by their īmān. A disbeliever holds no value whatsoever, even if they were to possess the entire world. In the sight of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla the whole world is not worth even the wing of a mosquito. It is essential to understand this well.
People today—even Muslims—look at worldly people with full admiration. They think that disbelievers are in a better position or possess more things. Yet, those people hold no value in the sight of Allāh ﷻ; one must recognize the true worth of īmān. The one who is precious in the sight of Allāh ﷻ is the one who possesses īmān. Therefore, a believer should not grieve, worry, or ever belittle themselves. A believer’s value in the sight of Allāh ﷻ is immense; Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has bestowed value upon you—that is, the gift of īmān. Your worth is great. Let the faithless possess as much wealth, property, and power as they wish; they hold no true value. This worldly life is fleeting. Let them boast and amass as much wealth as they desire in this world; the world is short-lived. The true, eternal existence is the Hereafter. Without securing the Hereafter, this worldly life passes by like a dream. Life slips away like a dream. What endures is the Hereafter; that is the eternal life. Whoever fails to realize this is in a state of loss; nothing they have amassed will benefit them in the Hereafter. As our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam stated: The world is worth no more than the wing of a mosquito. What significance would even the mosquito itself hold? It has no value whatsoever. Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam offers this beautiful example to illustrate the worthlessness of the world. Had
the world possessed even the value of a mosquito’s wing in the sight of Allāh ﷻ, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla would not have granted a disbeliever even a single sip of water. Because the world is of no value, Allāh ﷻ has given everything in this world to the disbelievers. Believing themselves to possess everything, they oppress others and do no good.
Therefore, a believing Muslim must be content with what Allāh ﷻ has bestowed upon them. Allāh ﷻ has granted them the greatest blessing—the blessing of īmān. Nothing else matters. Whether there is work or not makes no difference; it is Allāh ﷻ who provides a person's sustenance. Allāh ﷻ grants provision when He ﷻ wills. Of course, you still seek your livelihood, but the outcome rests upon Allāh’s ﷻ decree. Things are chaotic these days; people are constantly distressed over whether, “There’s work. There’s no work.” Yet, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “Do not grieve!” If you are a believer, you must not grieve. May Allāh ﷻ strengthen our īmān.
Wa min Allāhi t-Tawfīq. Al-Fātiḥa.
There are many recited Qur’ān Khatms this time masha’Allah. There are hundreds of Qur’ān Khatms, tasbihat, tahlilāt, salawat, charity and khatms of Dalā’il Al-Khayrāt. May Allāh ﷻ accept all worship done. We gift them to the soul of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, for the souls of his Ahlu l-Bayt and ṣaḥābah. For the souls of all prophets, Awliyā’, asfiya, mashāyikh. To the souls of all our ancestors. To the souls of all Muslimin and Muslimat, Mu’minin and Mu’minat. For goodness to come and the evil to be warded off. For the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ.
Li-Llahi Ta’ala, Al-Fatiha.
