Safety is in Sham

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari. Madad. Shukr to Allah ﷻ, various good events happened since our last gathering. Good things happened for humanity; for Muslims and for all humanity. Because oppression is something that Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla doesn’t like. There has been oppression for over 60 years in these holy places. And there was even worse oppression 13-14 years ago. The place we’re talking about is Sham Sharif.

We make Dua al-Qunut in prayer every night for the oppression to be gone. We say in the end of it,

“Faquţia Dābiru Al-Qawmi Al-Ladhīna Žalamū, Wa Al-Ĥamdu Lillāh Rabbi Al-Ālamīn”, “So the roots of the people who did wrong were cut off. And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.” (Qur’an 06:45). “Praise to Allah ﷻ who cut the roots of oppression”. We must praise and make Shukr to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla every night. Because, “Adh-Dhulmu dhulumat” - oppression is darkness. It is badness. It is a sign for the coming of Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam step by step to this world insha’Allah.

Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says about Sham Sharif, , “Al-Amnu fi sh-Shām”, ( / aw kamā kāl/ or as he ﷺ said). Safety and security are in Sham. No one could stay there since 13-14 years. There was no safety and no security. But the Mashayikh say this good tiding from the knowledge of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla: everything has its end. Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim gave this good tiding thirteen years ago. Everything he said happened while people were wondering how that would be. It just happens. Everything is in the Hand of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. We shouldn’t be surprised at anything from Allah ‘Azza waJalla. Muslims should not be surprised.

Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim said thirteen years ago, regarding this matter we told about, that they would run away on one night without moonlight, and their feet would kick their butts, ḥāshā mina l-ḥuḍūr [expression of respect meaning: saving your presence]. He said they would disappear at once. No one has guessed this would happen; neither America, nor Africa, nor Russia, nor Iran, nor others. But what the Mashayikh and Awliya foresee happens exactly the same.

So last week, as Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim said, may Allah ﷻ increase his Maqam - There is a full moon this week. Last week, there were dark nights. The first seven nights of the month are dark because the moon appears after that. They disappeared instantly. It happened as a confirmation to what he said. What he said exactly happened. They disappeared suddenly in one night. It is so strange. Where did these people go? How did they disappear? What happened? They left no trace. The men left everything behind, whilst there was no such probability. They have so many weapons. They have support. They have everything. But as Sham Sharif is holy and has Barakah, it was taken and entered without shedding blood, Shukr to Allah ﷻ.

Insha’Allah this is good tidings. Oppression all over the world will be gone insha’Allah. Oppression doesn’t last., Oppression doesn’t last. Its time is short. Oppression doesn’t bring any benefit to anyone. Some people think they will earn something if they oppress. Some governments think their ruling will last if they make oppression. It won’t last. The Ottomans had ruled for 700 years. How did they rule? With justice. There was no oppression. Everything was done with goodness, mercy and justice. If there was oppression, it would break down since the beginning. They wouldn’t have ruled for so long. All Islamic states were as such. Those who claimed Islam but had gone out of the way were ruined. They wouldn’t last long otherwise, because oppression doesn’t last.

Kafirs are oppressors. Muslims are merciful. The greatest oppression - Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says in Ayati Karimah, ‘ ’, ‘Inna sh-shirka la-ẓulmun ʿaẓīm’, ‘Indeed, association [with him] is great injustice.’ (Qur’ān 31:13). Making Shirk and creating partners with Allah ﷻ is oppression. Who do they oppress? They oppress Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Therefore, they will never have any Barakah, or any mercy or any benefit. They will be with shaytan all the time. And what shaytan does is oppression. It is badness to people, nothing else.

Does an oppressor show mercy? If he does, there is some treachery behind it. There is some personal interest. Therefore, even if he seems to be merciful, his mercy will turn into oppression later. Never does he want goodness. He only has selfishness. He only has egoism. He himself wants to live and the rest can die and perish. They want it like this. They are never pleased when someone has a good life. The pleased ones are the Muslims. They wish goodness to everyone. They wish benefit. They wish mercy. They wish health, safety and Iman to everyone. May Allah ﷻ let us all have true Iman. If you do badness, badness will come to you as well. If you do goodness, clever people should understand that goodness turns as goodness to you too. Everyone will have goodness. And if there is benefit, everyone will have benefit. A person who only thinks about himself, who is selfish and egoistic has neither benefit himself, nor there is benefit for others.

This is the essence of Tariqahs. And the essence of Tariqahs is what our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam teaches. It is going on his ﷺ way. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam always wishes goodness to people. He ﷺ wants to save everyone from hell. He ﷺ waits to make intercession for everyone for them to enter paradise. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam wants to become an intercessor for those who ask for Shafa’ah (intercession).. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “I will make intercession for those who commit big sins as well.” As long as they ask for Shafa’ah, there is his ﷺ intercession for everyone. Because of his ﷺ mercy, our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam doesn’t think about himself. He ﷺ begs Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla saying, “Ummati”, “My Ummah.”

Therefore, insha’Allah these beautiful days will be perpetual. May this Fitnah come upon those who make Fitnah. May Allah ﷻ protect Islam. May He ﷻ bring Sahib ul-Zaman as soon as possible. This event was mentioned by Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim thirteen years ago. People had thought they’d run away in one to two months. Thirteen years have passed since then. The whole country was destroyed. Everything was ruined. All the nation has run away from the country. These poor people were humiliated in tents and mud, in cold and rains, not mentioning those who drowned in the sea while escaping, not mentioning those who were shot. Thirteen years have passed. And eventually, what Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim had said happened last week. Therefore, the coming of Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam is soon insha’Allah. But Allah ﷻ knows how the time is in the sight of Allah ﷻ. We think it will happen immediately. And it may happen immediately. Nothing is difficult for Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. It may take time as well. But what’s important is that our Iman is strong. The good tidings of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam have been given. And the good tidings of Mashayikh is Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam. Just like we witness these events, may his appearance be soon insha’Allah. May the oppression be gone all over the world. May safety come insha’Allah. May Islam come.
