The Beauty of Ṭarīqah

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Yā Rijāla Llāh fi hadh’ihi l-buldan (O men of Allāh ﷻ in these countries). Insha’Allah our meeting is for the sake of Allāh ﷻ. Our intention is to meet you to make Allāh ﷻ pleased with us. For the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ, we are meeting in this blessed place, blessed gathering. Because we are al-ḥamdu liLlāh happy to be here again. Allāh ﷻ gave us life to come here again. We meet with you for the sake of Allāh ﷻ. We are happy for this.

Our aim in life is to make Allāh ﷻ happy with us, to make Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam happy with us, to make the mashāyikh happy with us, and awliyā’u Llāh. If you have this, it is a big favour from Allāh ﷻ, the most good favour. Because we are living in a time when people don’t know the right from wrong. Many people thought they are in the right way but after that, they discovered that way is not the right way.

Al-ḥamdu liLlāh, our way is coming through awliyā’u Llāh from Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam: Tarīqah way. It is very important because it is the same sunnah of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. It is very important for us, for ṭarīqah people. And those who follow this will not go out of the way. This is what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam orders: “You must follow me, my sunnah and after that my Khulafā’i r-Rashidīn, successors: Sayyidinā Abū Bakr, Umar, Uthman, ʿAlī. This is all this sunnah after me.” Their sunnah is also the same as the sunnah of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Who follows this will not be out of the way, the right way, the blessed way.

Now you see in this end of time. For many years now, many people are coming claiming they are Muslim, they are right Muslims, and people are cheated by them and they follow them. After this, nothing, not getting anything, no any

blessing, no any pleasure of Allāh ﷻ. Why? Because they are not following Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam’s sunnah.

Sunnah is very important; it is not a joke. As much as we can follow Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, we must follow. There are many things. Maybe it is a small sunnah or – you cannot follow a hundred percent but you can follow the sunnah of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, what he ﷺ was doing from Ībādah, especially the sunnah of prayers: like Fajr sunnah, before and after Dhuhr, Asr sunnah, for Maghrib, for ‘Isha also. This sunnah, now many people are not following it. “This is a sunnah. There’s no punishment for this. It is not important.” But it is important. It is not like gold in dunyā, it is like diamond. Every sunnah you make here, you will get reward in Jannah, get higher in maqām, more blessings, more happiness for you in Jannah. But these people are - when you leave this, what will happen? Your belief, īmān becomes less. Come with us. After that, Allāh ﷻ helps us and helps people to not leave their religion.

This is what shayṭān is cheating people. “Don’t follow ṭarīqah. Don’t follow sharī’ah. You all follow us.” What do you order? “We order to just pray two raka’āt. No need for sunnah. No need for reward. No need for anything. Only do this and it is enough.” No, not enough. Not enough for Muslims. As much as he can take, as much benefit he has.

In this life, everybody is running after benefit. Everybody likes benefit. We also as Muslims love benefit and know the real benefit: it is ākhirah, the next life. If this life’s benefit is not helping you for ākhirah, it is not benefit, it is zarār, loss; not benefit, loss. If you have billions here and you are not giving anything, this is a big loss for you. But if you have anything and with the intention being for your life, “I am working for the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ and this is for my family, my children. I look after them.” This benefit will be for you here and hereafter also. But when you are not looking for this benefit, it will be a loss for you.

For this, we are, al-ḥamdu liLlāh, gathering for the benefit for all of us, in shā’a Llāh. Because we are coming, al-ḥamdu liLlāh, from a long way. But when we see you here that you are happy, we are happy also. When a mu’min makes a mu’min happy, Allāh ﷻ is happy with him, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam is happy with him, awliyā’u Llāh are happy with him.

This is the beauty of ṭarīqah: to make people happy and to be pure for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Everything - He ﷻ says in the Qur’ān, ‘

)162 ( ’, ‘Qul ‘Inna Şalātī Wa Nusukī Wa Maĥyāya Wa Mamātī Lillāh Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (162) Lā Sharīka Lahu wa bi-dhalika Umirt’, ‘Say, “Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. (162) No partner has He. And this I have been commanded.’ (Qur’an 06:162-163). He ﷻ is saying, “My life, my death, my everything is for the sake of Allāh ﷻ and this is an order for me.” This is said in the Qur’ān on behalf of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, Sayyidinā Muḥammad ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.

This is our way, ṭarīqah way. This is what it is. But now people, as we said, are mixing, mixing up very much and just looking for something that their ego is happy with and following it. Because for Muslims and non-Muslims, now in dunyā, it is a difficult time. We see many things but we cannot do anything. What will you do? Just look at yourself. This is an order from Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wasallam. And make du’ā’, pray to Allāh ﷻ to help Muslims and keep us safe from every badness.

Don’t follow people you don’t know. You follow them, you think you are following the right one, you become sad for something, but Allāh Azza wa Jalla was not happy with him or with them. And you don’t know. This is the ignorance of Muslims. But who follows a Murshid, follows a real ālim, will know. For everybody - there is, al-ḥamdu liLlāh, thousands of them but they are not hearing their teachings or speeches. They’re only hearing the speeches of these rubbish people who make children and youngsters against ṭarīqah, against Ahlu l-Bayt and against ṣaḥābah. Only: no respect, no adab, no good behavior. This is what they are teaching.

But others: there are thousands of ulamā’ who are saying the same thing but people are not hearing them. Who is lucky is with them, not with these people who are teaching people to be away from Prophet ﷺ, from sunnah, from awliyā’u Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ keep us safe. May Allāh ﷻ send us Sayyidinā Al-Mahdī alayhi s-salām to save these people from bad people, in shā’a Llāh, to show the right way to all people.
