Month of Mercy

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 21:107). ‘Wa-mā arsalnāka illā raḥmatan li-l-‘ālamīn, ‘And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.’ Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla sent our Holy Prophet ﷺ as mercy to the universes.

Today is the last day of Safar. The month of Mawlid, the month of our Holy Prophet ﷺ will start at Maghrib. The barakah of this holy month will erase the burden of the heavy month insha’Allah, and will be the means of goodness. This year has passed a bit heavy. Last year there was not so much oppression. Every time there is more oppression. But in contrast to that, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla made the month of our Holy Prophet ﷺ the month of mercy. It is mercy just like him ﷺ. It is the month of mercy and Barakah.

Therefore, the more Salawat we make in this month, the more we’ll be greeted by our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Because our Holy Prophet ﷺ says, “Every time you make Salawat, I respond to you by saying wa ‘alaykum s-salam.” Our Holy Prophet ﷺ accepts our greeting and is aware of it. If ten, five, hundred or millions of people make Salawat, Allah ‘Azza waJalla has given our Holy Prophet ﷺ the ability to respond to all of them.

Therefore, the more Salawat we make - We recite it normally as well. But it is much better to recite it more in this month. It is always good. But in this month it is especially for the honor of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. It starts tomorrow. It starts tonight after Maghrib Adhan according to the Arabic calendar, Shukr to Allah ﷻ. We must make Shukr for the given favors.

Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is addressing you. Many people wish to see our Holy Prophet ﷺ in their dreams. But our Holy Prophet ﷺ addresses you every minute when you make Salawat. Knowing and believing in this is Fard for us. It is not Sunnah or Nafl but Fard to love our Holy Prophet ﷺ, to show respect to him ﷺ and to honor him ﷺ.

Because we are living in such a time that people have become slaves of shaytan. They say something and think they’ve become omniscient. They have so much arrogance that no matter how much disrespect and lack of Adab they show, they still see themselves as superb. Whereas they become more inferior and low.

Who honors of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, Allah ﷻ increases and glorifies him. And who doesn’t respect our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam has no value at all. He doesn’t have as little value as an atom. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ make this holy month full of Barakah insha’Allah. May it be the means of goodness insha’Allah. And may Allah ﷻ save the people who are oppressed.
