Give Good Tidings on Safar Ending

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam used to thank the one who gave good tidings about the end of Safar. He ﷺ was pleased with him. The month of Safar is a heavy month. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla made it this way. It is a heavy month. And there is wisdom in everything. Mu’mins should do more goodness and charity. They should beg to Allah ﷻ and remember Allah ﷻ.

Shukr to Allah ﷻ, all months are as Allah ﷻ wants them to be. Some are holy, some are heavy, and some are normal. But the month of Safar, especially the last Wednesday of Safar is a bit heavier. What should we do? We should make Tasbihat in the same way. Give more Sadaqah to be protected from accidents and disasters. Accidents and disasters are by the will of Allah ﷻ. But they can be prevented with Sadaqah.

There is a wisdom from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. He ﷻ gave willpower to people. There is partial willpower and complete willpower. They are the things that Allah ﷻ knows. But certainly, people can do the both. Therefore, overcome your ego and strive to do the good thing. If you do so, it will bring you benefit. If you direct your willpower to a good purpose, you will win. But if you obey your ego and not your willpower, you will never prosper then.

As we said, the month of Safar - We must be happy with whatever our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was happy with. We must love what he ﷺ loves. And we must not love whatever he ﷺ doesn’t love. It’s the same with this. Today is last Wednesday of Safar. It is its last week. Shukr to Allah ﷻ, following our Holy Prophet ﷺ, we are happy as it is coming to an end insha’Allah.

May Allah ﷻ always keep us at peace in joy. May He ﷻ give us joy here and hereafter. Our joy is to be on the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. This is our greatest joy. If you are happy with this world, it lasts for a minute and then it is over. Joy of our Holy Prophet ﷺ lasts forever insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ grant it to all of us.
