How to Become Beautiful

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 07:31). ‘Yā Banī 'Ādama Khudhū Zīnatakum `Inda Kulli Masjidin’, ‘O children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid.’ Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says to believers, “Take your decoration while going to Masjid or mosque.” Decoration means beauty. So arrange yourself from the outside and inside as much as you can.

The decoration of people is Iman. Mankind without Iman may adorn themselves as much as they want, they will neither be beautiful, nor they will have any light. A person on the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the most beautiful one. Even if he looks messy and shabby, his attribute is beautiful in the presence of Allah ﷻ. Otherwise, he may look after himself as much as he wants, unless he has Iman, it has no benefit. He dresses up for nothing, and he adorns himself for nothing.

This is the same for everyone. People with Iman are more accepted people. Therefore, if people want to be more accepted and to look better around others, they should strengthen their Iman. Non-Muslims should become Muslim. And Muslims should increase their love to our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam who is the Prophet of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. The more we honor him ﷺ, the more our light and beauty increases. If we don’t honor him ﷺ, we get uglier, we get worse.

This is the same for Muslims and Kafirs. The more inimical Kafirs are, the uglier they are. If Muslims don’t get closer to our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, if they don’t love and honor him ﷺ, they get uglier too. We see that anyway. Those away from it make people hate them, and they oppress themselves. They are going away from beauty. Beauty is in being together with our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is the most beautiful person in the universe. May we resemble him ﷺ insha’Allah. May we get more beautiful insha’Allah.
