Break Ego and Bear Difficulty

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 04:76). ‘Inna kayda l-shayṭāni kana dha‘īfā’, ‘Indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been weak.’ Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying no matter how much shaytan tries, his tricks and plots are weak. It is the time of the ruling of shaytans now. As Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla said, it is weak. He wants to finish everything people know in any way. Whatever there is that people see as good or bad, these shaytans want to finish all of them with the order of shaytan. And mankind doesn’t rely on Allah ﷻ but goes after them and falls into bad conditions.

Whatever good there is, whatever people know, they are ruining everything and doing unclear things instead. What they do is clear. It was bad, and that was not enough. They want even worse. Badness has no end. The ego’s desires have no end. The shaytan’s wishes have no end. The more you do, the more they ask. “I have committed a sin but didn’t repent for it.” He says, “That is not enough. Do more and more.” But Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says shaytan’s tricks and plots, everything he does will be destroyed if mankind turns to Allah ﷻ and repents. Allah ﷻ will change the sins to Thawab. And everything shaytan strives for will go in vain.

The condition of this world looks bad. But there is goodness in everything. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says there is easiness after hardship. First, there is hardship, but then comes easiness. It is easier for people to do badness than goodness in hardship. But if they don’t do so, there is goodness then. Goodness removes that hardship and badness, and you get more rewards. The harder it is, the more rewards there are.

Shaytan made another trick to Muslims. “I can’t perform a prayer. When I stand to pray, my heart starts throbbing. This and that happens. I feel distressed. I can’t do it.” You look and see that man or a woman hasn’t prayed for years. Why are you not praying? “I feel distressed.” If you pray in distress, your prayer is a thousands times more virtuous than another prayer. Who breaks his ego, bears that difficulty and performs his prayer gets a thousands times more Thawab. But if he quits otherwise, he commits a sin and deprives himself from great virtues. May Allah ﷻ protect us from the evil of shaytan, from the evil of our egos and from the evil of this time.
