Secrets

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm., "ʿĀlimu l-ghaybi wash-shahādati" (59:22). Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘aẓīm. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla knows everything; the hidden, the present and what we see. Things not seen to us, things that are hidden are in the knowledge of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. What we know is nothing. In the presence of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, next to His ﷻ knowledge, it is nothing from nothing. It is nothing at all. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla knows everything Himself. He ﷻ created it in the best way.

Some people say "I studied this. I studied that. I know some secrets. No one knows these secrets. I know them". Many people claim so. Real scholars, real saints are not like that. But Allāh ﷻ reveals a little so that people benefit from their knowledge. But that is nothing too. That is also like nothing next to the knowledge of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created everything with His ﷻ wisdom.

The secrets are with Him ﷻ. Those secrets; some of them will be revealed to people on Judgment day. As we said, some of them from the ocean of His ﷻ knowledge - We cannot say ocean. Knowledge of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is unlimited. It is wrong to say it has a limit. His ﷻ knowledge is something without an end. There are secrets that we don't understand. They will be revealed to people by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla on Judgment day. There are some secrets; there are also secrets that people keep. They will also be revealed on Judgment day., “Lā Takhfá Minkum Khāfiyah”, “Not hidden among you is anything concealed.” (Qur’an 69:18). You cannot hide anything. All secrets will be evident. What you did, whom you harmed, whom you helped; everything will show up then.

In time we are living now, no one understands what is what. Everything is mixed up. Shayṭān is playing with people as he likes. And they go around happily by thinking no one knows their secrets. All of those secrets will be evident on Judgment day. And everyone will pay accordingly. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has other good secrets. People will understand them also in that time.

Certainly, as we said, those secrets are not even as particle from the knowledge of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Therefore, some people get very excited when you tell them a secret wondering what and how it is. And many people run after such people who claim to know secrets. They oftentimes perish then. We are not ordered to go after those secrets. What they call a secret, people who use those secrets show the way of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam as a different way. "It is not like this. The secret is like this. You must go together with the possessor of this secret." There were many groups who mislead people by saying so. Therefore, that is not our business. If there are secrets, Allāh ‘Azza waJalla will bring them up on Judgment day, and we'll see them. Otherwise, we must keep on the way ordered by our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. We must follow praying, fasting, ḥajj, zakāh, doing goodness, avoiding badness, avoiding all kinds of sins. We must follow all of these the way they were ordered.

But there are many people who say "The secret is like this. You must not do so." People who listen to them will perish together with that secret. Those secrets will be shown on Judgment day. And they will see that things they did brought no benefit then. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. Mankind is curious to learn hidden things to know what to do. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has given this. This is in the nature of people. And we must be careful to make it right. No need to destroy yourself for those useless things. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from the evil of evil people.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
