Keep Ties with Your Ancestors’ Friends

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Al-ḥamdu liLlāh we are meeting again. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says in ḥadīth, the most blessed one is who makes the friendship with his father’s friend to continue. Al-ḥamdu liLlāh, today we see many murīds, old murīds and new murīds. Al-ḥamdu liLlāh, all continue following Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī’s way and are coming together.

Of course, there many - in Mawlānā’s way, he accepts everybody, everyone. There’s no difference between people. Whoever comes, he accepts him. And he teaches them the good things for themselves and for others, for humanity. He is never throwing away who’s coming with good intention and for the sake of Allāh ﷻ from his door.

There were multi-nations, multi-people in his Tariqah, his way. From East and from the whole world, there were people following him. And each one, as much as he can take blessings from Mawlana, he gave him. Some people make too much - they can carry and they can do more than others. Also no problem. And other people, they cannot do, they can do less. Some of them more less. Others more less. It is also ok, no problem. As much they are happy and they are accepting, Mawlana is happy with them, and he will look for them also.

For this, once Mawlana was saying an example for this, he said some [coming] like a lorry that comes for a petrol station, filling tanks of petrol. Some coming like a little motorbike, and taking very little petrol. So Mawlana was giving people as their capacity. For everyone, by his wisdom, he was giving and everybody was happy.

And in this tour, we see from the beginning, and this time we were Munich, and it was the first time we go there for tour after Mawlānā. We saw many people who were saying, “Oh we haven’t seen anybody after Mawlānā. We saw you, we are

happy. Mawlānā I was still with love with Mawlānā and we are happy, we saw you.” I was happy to hear this and happy to make, can make - Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was saying, to continue the friendship or not to cut ties with people who love your father and your ancestors. You must be together, you must be happy to make them feel [happy], to have love for them.

Al-ḥamdu liLlāh. Today also we are seeing, al-ḥamdu liLlāh, every two, three years or after one year - because many people cannot see us or sometimes they are coming, but we cannot see them. Here, al-ḥamdu liLlāh, we see many of you. We thank Allāh ﷻ for this meeting. Thanks for Sirajuddin he also managed to make this good meeting, al-ḥamdu liLlāh.

Al-ḥamdu liLlāh, this meeting is also for Ākhirah, in shā’a Llāh. When you continue like this, it will continue forever, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ bless you. Because you have a long journey, so it’s a short ṣoḥbah but in shā’a Llāh barakah. What’s important is to follow the order, ṣoḥbah is very important for ṭarīqah.
