Shaytan’s Deceits in This Time

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

AlhamduliLlah, may our gathering be for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ insha’Allah. Few people gather for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ, and few people make Shukr to Allah ﷻ, He ﷻ says., “Wa qaleelun min ‘ibadiya sh-shakur”, “And few of My servants are grateful”, says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla in Qur’an Karim. (Qur’an 34:13) Shukr to Allah ﷻ, this gathering is a gathering for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. It looks crowded, yet it is little compared to the abundance of people.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla hasn’t granted this to everyone. He ﷻ says this in Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan as well. Not everyone can benefit from this favor. Not everyone is given from the things given by the generosity of Allah ﷻ. Whatever Allah ﷻ wants happens., “Li-man yasha’u”, “For whom He wills.” (Qur’an 02:261). You may strive as much as you want. Only people meant by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla attain His ﷻ favours and virtues. This comes in their fate. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created many people in this world. There are millions and billions of them. But He ﷻ didn’t give it to all of them. Why did He ﷻ not give? We cannot ask why. We cannot question the wisdom of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Allah ﷻ does whatever He ﷻ wants. When you are on this way, you must make Shukr so that He ﷻ increases His ﷻ favors. Favours increase with Shukr. And the greatest favor is the favor of Iman, to have Iman, to be with people who have Iman.

Shukr to Allah ﷻ, our way is the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. This way is the way of Falah. Falah means salvation. This is the way to salvation. There is no other way to salvation. There is only one way. Having come from ‘Adam ‘alayhi s-salam, this single way is going on without any change until Qiyamah. Other ways without salvation are the ways of suffering, ways of tribulation; they are bad ways. None of

the ways out of the way of Allah ﷻ bring benefit to people. They bring nothing but harm. But this way is the beautiful way of Islam. It is benefit for people.

Nevertheless, shaytan strives to mislead people by various means. He doesn’t sit still. He never quits. He doesn’t quit until he leads people out of the way. When will he quit? When they enter hell, he’ll say, “I am not from you. Do whatever you want.” They will say, “You have brought us here.” Shaytan will say, “You should have thought about it yourselves.”

The way of Allah ﷻ is open. We must strive for Allah ﷻ. We must do goodness and charity for Allah ﷻ. You must perform your worship for Allah ﷻ. You say you cannot, but you spend hours in places which Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla doesn’t order. You do things that Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla doesn’t order. You get tired and exhausted. Yet, you don’t care at all. You think you’ve done something important.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying, BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, ‘Qul Hal Nunabbi'ukum Bil-'Akhsarīna 'A`mālāan’, ‘Say, [O Muhammad], "Shall we [believers] inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds?’ (Qur’ān 18:103). He ﷻ says, “Let Me tell you about people who get the most harm from what they do. These people think they do very good things in this world and get happy thinking they are such and such people. They think they did great things. But what they did are worthless things,” says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. According to them, they do great things. They think they do good to themselves, whereas those are completely useless and worthless things. They bring harm to themselves. And the result of harm is hell. May Allah ﷻ protect us.

Therefore, being steadfast on this way is important. As we said, shaytan doesn’t leave people even if they are steadfast on the way. He attacks them through various ways and says this is good and that is bad. When people find the way, they must keep on that way. They must be steadfast on that way. Unfortunately, many people are cheated by words. Many people are cheated by speeches. Therefore, when you find a Murshid, hold tight onto your Murshid. Because Murshid ul-Kamil are rarely found. Being together with them and holding tight to them is the salvation. Imitating them is the salvation.

People of old times used to look for such holy ones. Nowadays, they look for them too. But more often, they follow those who look nice, who speak nicer and better. However, they have no good deeds. They have no good actions. They

only look good. But inside, they have nothing. Therefore, may Allah ﷻ protect us from these people. There are many people like this.

They are making even fake gold now. What we mean by fake is that they are able to sell 3K gold as 22K gold. If you watch the news, people don’t know what to do anymore. Everywhere there is fraud. Everywhere there is scam. There are many people who cheat others and want to benefit from them. As we said, their looks are good. They wear turbans as large as a baklava tray, beards half a meter long. People get cheated by that and give away everything they have. Some of them even ask people to sell their lands and homes. May Allah ﷻ protect us.

Certainly, let us say it here; when people who are dressed as Shaykhs or Dervishes ask something from you, make sure to ask other people if what they say is true or false. Never did Mawlana Shaykh Nazim tell anyone to bring money offering to do this and that. He didn’t wish any harm to anyone. But as we said, some people are cheating others under the cover of religion.

There are many people who cheat otherwise as well. There are many people here who have fallen victim to them. There is something made up by shaytan that I don’t know. We haven't understood it yet. Is it a flea (bit) or a sheep (koyun)? (Bitcoin). Someone said he is trading sheep. A brother from Urfa said, “I’ve started buying and selling sheep.” I said, “How come? There is no such interest in your area.” He said, “It’s not that “koyun” (sheep). It is another “koyun”. It is sold on the internet.” Where is it? “It is inside there.” How is it inside!

There were gold and silver in old times. Jews took it away from people. They cheated people and gave back paper. Paper loses its value, but it is still manageable. But then they brought up cards. You cannot see money on cards as well. This one is even worse. You cannot see the money at all. How is it? Money is inside it. People are cheated by that and say they earned this and that much. They take money from their parents, money from their neighbors in order to earn. And people want it. It will disappear one day, wherever this damn is, because it is somewhere in electricity, you cannot see it. Both those men and people around them will be victims then. There are at least several people here who have suffered from it.

Therefore, we must be careful with favors given by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, ‘ ’, ‘Wa la tusrifū, ‘But waste not by extravagance.’ (Qur’ān 07:31). Don’t waste., “Wa Lā Tu’utū As-Sufahā’a ‘Amwālakum”, “And give not unto the foolish your property.” (Qur’an 04:05).

Don’t give money to prodigal people. Prodigal are people who don’t know the value and work. Don’t give money to them. Keep your money to yourself. Turn it into gold. And don’t look anywhere else. Everywhere is fake. Everything has become useless that brings nothing but loss to people.

Islam is what protects people. Islam is what protects their rights, property and wealth. Otherwise, there is nothing but scam. As we said, over a hundred years ago during the Ottomans, they used gold and silver as money. Jews came and took that away. “We give you this paper equivalent to your gold. Give us gold, and we will give you paper money.” People gave it. So there is no Barakah, no abundance anymore. Nothing is like it was in old times.

Therefore, when Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam comes, there will be no need for gold and silver. Paper money, air money, those koyuns (coins) or goats will disappear. Humanity will become a humanity. Otherwise, people don’t trust anyone now. They have lost their trust. As we said, when scammers appear and cheat people, they distance themselves away from the religion as well. Whereas these people who cheat other people have nothing to do with the religion.

The right of a servant is the most important right in Islam. Even if Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla forgives, the servant must forgive his right so that they are saved from the punishment. Otherwise, they will have to give away from their own good deeds on Judgment day for taken rights. Our Holy Prophet ﷺ says a man will come on Judgment Day with good deeds as high as a mountain. But when they will be put on scales, there will be rights of this man and that man. His Thawab will be given away to them. Eventually, nothing will remain. Everything on his scales will be given to others. Therefore, we must pay attention to this. We must be careful with the rights of servants.

You must be careful with our own goods as well. Because that is a favor from Allah ﷻ to you. He ﷻ didn’t give it to you to be taken by others. He ﷻ didn’t give it so that you let others have it. Pay attention to it. It is given to you to take care of your family and children. It is their Rizq. You must be careful with their Rizq.

Tariqah is not only praying and worshipping. Tariqah is good relations with people, good behavior and good manners. It is your duty to take care of your closest ones, to treat them well and to protect their rights. You must carry this duty properly. The responsibility is on you, on the men who look after their households. And women must pay attention to their men. They must guard their families, feed

their children with Halal food and dress them with Halal clothing. They will be good children then.

As many people of this time don’t take the matter of Haram seriously, sometimes their children are bad. Sometimes they are very bad. But sometimes they are better. That is because of Halal food. When you feed them with Halal food, they will be good children with the permission of Allah ﷻ. The most important thing now is children. Because shaytans are attacking them. Various shaytans. People are done with those in their countries and are striving to destroy the manners of Muslim children in our country.

Children and adults, everyone is in danger now. We must be on the way of Allah ﷻ to be saved from this danger. Who is on the way of Allah ﷻ will be saved. Who is not is in danger. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ send the Sahib, because the condition of this world is not good. Oppression is actual and factual. There is no person who can stop it now. May Allah ﷻ send the Sahib. May he save these people. May he save our Iman as well insha’Allah.

May He ﷻ bless the coming days. It is the 10th of Dhu l-Qa’da today. Next month is Dhu l-Hijjah, the month of Hajj. Insha’Allah may Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam appear with their Barakah.
