Speak with Wisdom

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 06:108). ‘Wa lā tasubbū l-ladhīna yad’ūna min dūni Llāhi fa’yasubbū Llaha ‘adwan bighayri ‘ilm’, ‘And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge.’ Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘aẓīm.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying when a man wants to speak, he must speak by thinking. If there are people you don’t like, or if there are people who worship idols apart from Allah ﷻ, do not swear at their idols. Because they are ignorant, and they will swear at Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla then. Their sin is too big. As they are ignorant, you will be the means for their behavior. Perhaps, they will see the truth in the future. But while attempting to do goodness by arguing with them, you will have done badness. You will have made them commit this sin.

Therefore, we should not look at the conditions of some people. If you know, stay away from that issue. Don’t come close to them. Don’t let anyone come against Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Treat them with wisdom. Speak with wisdom. Certainly, while trying to teach Islam and defend Islam, you may do even worse. Many people go against Allah ﷻ without knowing according to their age or time. But when they get wiser, they will regret doing it. They will ask for forgiveness from Allah ﷻ, and Allah ﷻ will forgive them. Allah ﷻ is forgiving.

Therefore, telling useless things doesn’t bring any benefit. Speaking without wisdom doesn’t bring benefit. Also speaking without knowing doesn’t bring benefit. Allah ‘Azza waJalla puts people to the test from all sides. So don’t fail this test, and don’t let others fail it insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ give guidance to all of us insha’Allah.
