Benefit from These Months

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

This month is one of the honored months which are called Ashhuru l-hurum. Dhu l-Qa’da, Dhu l-Hijjah and Muharram - these are the months of Hajj. And also the month of Rajab, which comes separately. There is no permission for war in these months. Certainly, if you are attacked, you may respond to them.

This is apparently. And spiritually, there are days in them which are full of great Thawab. They are respected - Ashhuru l-hurum. Hurum means respected. And these are the months when it is forbidden to shed blood and to make war. As we said, if the enemy attacks you, it is alright to defend against them.

Of course, in this time, there is no humanity anymore. Not only considering the religion, they are not considering anything. Oppression has reached its peak. Everything has its time of ripening. And this world is ripe now. Akhirah and Qiyamah are approaching after this., ‘Iqtarabati s-sā‘atu wa inshaqqa lqamar’, ‘The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].’ (Qur’ān 54:01). This was said nearly 1,500 years ago in Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan. It is near. Qiyamah is near. And it is closer day by day.

Therefore, we must benefit from these blessed days. It is a great benefit for people, for Muslims to do all kinds of goodness, to worship, to obey Allah ﷻ and to avoid sin in these holy months. To approach Allah ﷻ is the greatest benefit for mankind. And the greatest harm is to be away from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ not separate us from the right way. May these days be blessed for Muslims, for people who show respect insha’Allah.
