Barakah Is in Fajr
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said, Barakah is in early mornings. When you pray Fajr, you get Barakah for the whole day insha’Allah. Fajr is the first prayer. Beginning the day with worshipping Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives Barakah. If you sleep, you don't have this Barakah in this day. Barakah means good thing, everything going well.
People of old times had no television, nothing. They were sleeping early and waking up early. Their life was easier and of more happiness than these days.
Many people say, “I cannot wake up for Fajr. Why can’t I wake up for Fajr?” We say, “Do you sleep late?” They say, “Yes.” “If you sleep late how can you wake up?” It is better if you sleep earlier. It is good for your health also, for your body, and you can wake up for Fajr.
If you cannot wake up for Fajr, you must at least pray Fajr when you wake up. It is a gift from Allāh ﷻ for you. May Allāh ﷻ help us to follow His ﷻ order to be happy and healthy insha’Allah.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
