Don’t Doubt His ﷻ Forgiveness

2 min read

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm,, “Inna Allāha Yaghfiru Adh-Dhunūba Jamī`āan, ‘Innahu Huwa AlGhafūru Ar-Raĥīm”, “Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” (Qur’ān 39:53).

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the one who forgives all sins. Whatever sins are committed, as long as you repent, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will change them to thawāb. Your sins will be erased, and thawāb will be written instead. This grace and generosity of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is to save people. In order to save them, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created various means.

There are many people who do evil throughout their lives, or who never do any goodness. If they repent before they die, they will be in profit. The doors of repentance are open. The door of repentance closes before qiyāmah. When it is closed, repentance is not accepted.

There are some people with waswasa, doubtful people who think, "Will Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla ever forgive our sins?" What are you, a man or a woman? Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying, "I am forgiving" at all times and at every chance in Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n and in ḥadīth sharīf of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. He ﷻ gives good tidings by saying, "Repent, and I will forgive all your sins." Yet, some people question, "Will He ﷻ forgive me?" Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla forgives. You should not have a doubt. There cannot be a doubt. The word of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is true. You must hear what He ﷻ says. If you obey your ego and say, "Will He ﷻ forgive me or not?" you will have heard and listened to your ego. You will have not accepted the word of Allāh ﷻ. That is the bigger danger. Therefore, don't ever say "Will He ﷻ [forgive us]?" in anything you do. Certainly, Allāh ﷻ will forgive us. You must know that He ﷻ accepts all goodness we do. You must believe in it. Who believes in it will be saved. Otherwise, if people think they'll be saved with their actions, they will not be saved but mistaken. May Allāh ﷻ protect them.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
