Don’t Insist on Sins

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 03:135) ‘Wa Lam Yuşirrū Alá Mā Faalū’, ‘And [who] do not persist in what they have done.’ Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says. When you don’t persist on making mistakes and sins, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla forgives those sins. But if you persist in Kufr and doing badness, there is nothing else to be done. He will be punished for it.

People now don’t accept their mistakes. They assume what they know is right and persist in that. This is wrong. What you do is not a good thing. It is against everything. It is against human nature. It is against the creation of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. They are persisting in committing sins. And they are inviting others to do that sin and badness. They say, “Do this. You must certainly do so. If you don’t, we won’t help you. We won’t give you money.” They are encouraging the whole world to do badness. What is badness? All kinds of sins are bad. It is not good for humanity.

Mankind was created by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. He ﷻ created them in the best way, and He ﷻ wants them to live in the best way. When they commit sins, their ranks go down, their qualities go down. Going down and down, they become worse than animals. Animals are cleverer and better then. But when they do goodness, their ranks go up. The more goodness they do, the higher their ranks go.

As we said, we are in this holy month now. People should not insist on the mistakes they make. If they took someone’s right, if they oppressed someone; they must think, “Am I right or wrong?" They must stop if they are wrong. Allah ﷻ will forgive them. They will be in great profit. The profit in this world is for Akhirah. Profit for this world is nothing at all. Don’t think you earn something by oppressing people. That will bring suffering and punishment to you in Akhirah. May Allah ﷻ protect us.

May we not persist, as we said. Look if there is justice or not. Sometimes people trust themselves and say they are right. And sometimes they are wrong in what they are confident about. Therefore, we must pay back everyone’s right while in this world and go to Akhirah as clean insha’Allah. There is always forgiveness, but this month is much more beautiful: it will be the means for forgiveness insha’Allah.
