Safety Now is by Keeping Your Tongue
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
There is a saying,
“Salāmatu l-insān min ḥifẓi l-lisān.” I think it’s not a ḥadīth but Allāhu ʿĀa’lam (Allah ﷻ knows best). It is a nice saying. What keeps a person safe? To control his tongue. If you control your tongue, you will be safe. As Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “He who can keep his mouth and what is between his legs away from bad things, I guarantee for him Jannah.” This is very important.
Nowadays shayṭān is making people, “You must speak. You must give your opinion. You must say what you are thinking. You must say this”, they say. But when you say this, it can be dangerous for you, not good for you. What’s dangerous for ākhirah, you can maybe ask for forgiveness, Allāh ﷻ forgives. But in this dunyā they do not forgive. Human beings do not forgive each other. When you do something or you say some right thing, something you know you say for people, you will be in danger. So better [in order] to be safe, you shouldn’t say everything you know or everything you think of, or everything you see; no need to say. It's not getting you benefit. Even if you are not a hundred percent, but a thousand percent right, when it is not good for these people, they will be of no benefit for you, only harm for you.
We are living in a time which is really controlled by shayṭān. For this, don’t think you can say everything. Now, we have surrendered for the shayṭān kingdom. Be quiet. Be quiet, don’t make trouble for yourself. Because for them, trouble is good for them. For shayṭān, trouble is good. Maybe he wants you to do trouble to finish you.
For this, we have surrendered. We are waiting. This kingdom, every kingdom has a time for it. Nothing is forever. Everything has a time. Time by time, time by time, coming, going, coming, going. Sometimes they put in a movie showing quickly: spring, summer, autumn, winter. You see them coming quickly; running, running, running. This [shown is] for one year. But this has been since Ādam ‘alayhi s-salām. They said seven thousand [years], maybe it is more. It is more. Because this is what they mentioned but Allāhu ʿĀa’lam (Allah ﷻ knows best) for this. There is no correct thing.
But it is like this since Allāh ﷻ created human beings. One nation coming, controlling. Then another coming, finishing it. Later, coming a very strong [one], after that becoming weak and going; coming, going. Until the end, until Qiyāmah it is like this.
Now we have surrendered; not making any voice, any objection, anything. Because, as we said, there’s not benefit. They are in control: shayṭān. Still, we must imitate that we are dead, death. This is what happened when the Mughal came, they were killing everybody. Some people pretended as if they are dead, and after that they woke up and they survived. Now, we must be like that: dead people; don’t say anything. They are killing people. If you say, say; they will kill you also. So no need to [talk], just imitate [death]. And after that in shā’a Llāh, when the Kingdom of Heaven comes, you will wake up and it will be time for heavenly time. That time, you can be happy if you survived [until then]. If you did not survive, you will also be safe in ākhirah. The most important thing is to be safe in ākhirah. In dunyā, everybody will die. Shahīd or not shahīd, everybody; nobody lives forever.
For this, be patient, have ṣabr. Of course, we don’t like this kingdom, but we are not doing anything because we know [this is the] time for this kingdom. No benefit to make trouble for yourself, for others. Just be quiet. The time will come in shā'a Llāh, for heavenly kingdom, the kingdom of justice, the barakah and every good thing in shā'a Llāh will come. Because now you cannot - Can one drop of water give water for the whole world? No. Keep this for yourself until that time. We see now some people are trying to do something.
Of course, there are many attacks on Muslims in the whole world. We see this is happening everywhere. We are patient. What we can only do is make du’ā’ for Allāh ﷻ to save them. Because Sayyidinā Ibrāhīm ‘alayhi s-salām was in fire, but the fire was not burning him. For this, also the people are in fire, when Allāh ﷻ wants, He ﷻ protects them. This is all what we want. We are all praying. We are not
happy that these people be killed, to be like this. But what we can only do is ask Allāh ﷻ to prevent this fire from them, make it cool and good in shā’a Llāh.
May Allāh ﷻ help all human beings because oppression is not good for human beings. But this has been happening since Ādam ‘alayhi s-salām; since Ādam ‘alayhi s-salām until now. Human beings have this attribute: to kill each other. Since Qābil killed Ḥābil, and this continues, continues until Qiyāmah. But in shā’a Llāh we not be Qābil, we must be Ḥābil. Even though he was killed by his brother but he won and the other lost. And those coming from him were also people like him.
So this is the rule of life. They must be in war until Qiyāmah. In Ākhirah, everybody will be asked for what they’ve done, and there will be some for Hell and some for Paradise. May Allāh ﷻ make us from the Paradise people in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ send someone to save humanity in shā’a Llāh. He will be saving by Islām. Islām means peace. There is only one solution. Because everything is finished: from the ideas these people have. They’ve tried them all and now they finished. In shā’a Llāh, now the time, after Allāhu ʿĀa’lam (Allah ﷻ knows best) when - but after this, only peace in shā’a Llāh, Islām.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
