Īmān is the Most Important Favor

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

[...] Injustice, troubles, disasters, wars; all of this is from Allāh ﷻ. This is the time for this. So, who is a believer must accept and not say anything. Only ask from Allāh ﷻ to keep his faith strong. The most important thing is our faith, īmān. When you have a strong īmān, everything is not important. You know this is coming from Allāh ﷻ. And if anybody is with Allāh ﷻ, they will be rewarded. Even in dunyā, you can see their terrible situation. But in the Divine Presence of Allāh ﷻ, they have a good thing, a good reward.

The whole world now is in a bad situation. In no place are they happy. Allāh ﷻ gave them, so do what you can do! Let us see when you are not accepting the rule of Allāh ﷻ, the Heavenly Rule. Our Creator ﷻ knows what is good for us, what is bad for us. But these people say, “No, we know better than Him.” AstaghfiruLlah. “We know better than Him. This rule is not good. So we must put a new rule.” They put communism, socialism, capitalism, everything, fascism, nazism. They tried all these rulings. They are still trying and they are not coming back for the rule of Allāh ﷻ.

The rule of Allāh ﷻ will be in shā’a Llāh. It is the best rule for human beings because He ﷻ know what is good for us, and what is not good for us. As doctors sometimes, they try one medicine, they give it to you, “Oh this good for you.” After a little bit, it makes your head ache. “No, leave this. We can use another medicine.” They give you this, it makes your ear [ache], you feel pain in your ear. “And this also not good”, and so on. But from the beginning, if they are a good doctor, they give you some medicine with no side effects. So everything the human being is trying without looking at the Holy Order of Allāh ﷻ is not good; it is bad for human beings. Not only can one place be destroyed, they destroy all human beings.

So for this, the best thing is to come back to Allāh Azza wa Jalla. But they cannot do so. Because for kufr, unbelievers, the most important attribute for them is stubbornness. Like Abū Jahl, Abū Lahab and others. Even though they were living the miracles with Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, but from their stubbornness, they were not coming to way of Allāh ﷻ.

So in this time, it’s (more) worse. Because in that time also, they had something, they believed in something. But now there is no belief. No belief, no hope. When you don't have hope, your life is a miserable life. Because you know your life: day after day, day after day, it will finish and finish with an empty thing. They think it is empty. If it is empty, it is very good. But what is awaiting them on the other side is worse from this world.

So Mu’mins, believers are lucky, even if they don’t have this machine, this equipment, this luxury. It is not important because this doesn’t give happiness. When they have everything and nothing to get, they become more hopeless, more miserable. But who is with Allāh Azza wa Jalla, even with a small thing, he will be happy when he can bring food for his family. They will be happy. Once we were with Mawlānā Shaykh in Indonesia; more than twenty years ago. He was once in that area, Mawlānā Shaykh. He was going by train through a paddy field. The farmers were working in this field. Mawlānā Shaykh said, “Look at how these people are. They are poor, but if they find one handful of rice, they are happy, it is enough for them, for their family. They will be happy. But for other people, this cannot feed one man.”

For this happiness is to be on the way of Allāh ﷻ, way of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Many people here also forget that because you are living - not only here in Europe or in England or in.. Everywhere now, everywhere in the world. They are only thinking about their life: how to get better, how to get more and more and more. And when they cannot get, they become unhappy. They forget what Allāh ﷻ gave them from Ni’mah of īmān, of Islam, belief. The biggest Ni’mah.

Safety is also very important. AlhamduliLlah we were before coming here, before one month or more in Egypt. At night time, we were coming back, there were thousands of people running away from their country coming to Egypt, from Sudan. These people left everything and they are coming to find a place with peace. You are living in peace everywhere, [yet] nobody is happy with this. Everything is not a problem when you have safety, you have belief, īmān. You must be happy. Maybe you cannot eat meat everyday, you can eat bread, you can eat rice, you can eat things that are (more) cheaper, but don’t complain.

Complaining is not good. They are complaining about other things: about children, “They are not studying, not looking.” Studying is not important also. What’s important is to find ḥalāl work and bring ḥalāl food for their family, for their house. This is important; not to get much money. Enough is what’s enough for you to continue your life. Be thankful, and Allāh ﷻ will give you more. From small it will be growing. From big you cannot grow more.

So for this, may Allāh ﷻ give the Mu’mins, Muslims good thinking; not thinking like non-believers. Now they are controlling the whole world, pumping their ideas. So the believer, non-believer, Asian, African, European, Middle Eastern: you see them with the same character, same thought, the same in what they like, also the same in what they don't like. They made this for the whole world.

This is from Muslims not controlling their ego. They leave their ego to run after what others are showing them. And they are showing what they like, [in order] to control and to finish all human beings, to finish religion. The worst thing for them is religion. The biggest enemy for these people is religion. When religion is finished, they can control the whole world. After this, they make all human beings slaves for them like animals. They can do what they like. This is what shayṭān has been trying to do from the beginning. It will not happen. As we said, non-believers don’t have hope. We not only hope, we believe what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wasallam is saying about this time, about the end of times. Allāh ﷻ lets these people do everything and in the end will come in shā’a Llāh, the light of Allāh ﷻ, the Nūr of Allāh ﷻ, Islām with Sayyidinā Al-Mahdī ‘alayhi s-salām. As Mawlānā Shaykh says, they will wipe them out from dunyā, not leaving any dirt in this dunyā in shā’a Llāh. We believe in this. In shā’a Llāh this time is not so far, in shā’a Llāh. We hope for it to be very near in shā’a Llāh.

May Allāh ﷻ make us see these good days because we are not happy with these days, with what is happening. We cannot do anything but we are not happy with non-believers, what they are doing; they are against Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla’s rule. We are not happy with this. We are happy with Allāh ﷻ in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ keep us in His ﷻ way and support us. May Allāh ﷻ keep you and keep all of us safe. Because in this world, everywhere is in danger. As Mawlānā Shaykh was saying, when something happens, don’t go out, don’t look at what’s happening, what it is. Just keep yourself in your house and Allāh ﷻ saves you in shā’a Llāh.
