Perfection is in Ṭarīqah

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

What is the benefit of Ṭarīqah? Many people, these headless people say, “There’s no need for Ṭarīqah, no need for Tasawwuf.” There is no benefit from this. Everything must be without - Those who say this don't have any wisdom. They don't give benefit for human being.

Ṭarīqah means the complete perfection. Without Ṭarīqah you cannot find perfection. And Ṭarīqah is showing every beauty of Islam. What Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam brings, Ṭarīqah is showing this. Because without Ṭarīqah, many people lose their way. They are going destroying themselves and destroying others also. One example for this: when we entered here, they were saying Qasida. But this Qasida, there are some governments in this world, they are torturing people. So they make 24 hours in their air, giving loud voice, or putting light on their face, torturing them. When we went inside here, it was like this. Those who are saying Qasida, Masha’Allah have a very nice voice. Islam very nice. But when somebody comes not knowing how to use it, it is only torturing. When we said this, he who claims is a professional in this, yet he doesn’t know [anything], he fixed it and it was very good, very sweet Qasida. But before it was really torturing.

This is Tasawwuf, this is Ṭarīqah. Ṭarīqah is giving the perfection for everything, not only for praying, but for your whole life. Because Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam showed us everything for the life of human beings: how he must be and what is of benefit for him, what is good for him, what is happiness for him. All this from the very smallest detail until the biggest one: Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam showed us this. So without following Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam’s Sunnah and what he ﷺ said, we cannot have perfection.

Many people now - I say this example many times about the engine of the car. If you open, you say about many things, “This is not good, no need for this, take this, this not good, throw this, no this.” In the end the car is not running, it will stop. Because this small part which you are not happy with, and you thought according to your opinion, “It’s of no need, too much.” You took it and threw it away. After this, this car will not be running. This is a car, it is from iron and has no soul, nothing inside. It cannot go when it is not complete. So how we can reach this stage? To go higher and higher? So if you leave it, your belief, īmān becomes less and less until you have no belief; only Muslim. After that, [being] Muslim also you will not be. Sometimes they will leave [Islam]. This is what happening now.

Since 100 years after Khilafah (Caliphate), they began to make this Fitnah to destroy Islam. They said, “No need for Ṭarīqah. Ok, we throw Ṭarīqah.” After this, they said, “No need for Madhhab.” So many people said, “Ok, no need for this also.” All of this is protection for our belief. Ṭarīqah is the (most) strongest fort for Islam, for our belief. After this, Madhhab. Four Madhhabs. We must follow one of them.

When they said this, also many of these headless whom Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying about: ‘Ulamā'u s-Sū’. ‘Ulamā'u s-Sū’ means bad scholars. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying what will happen: there will be many of these people in this time, the end of times. And they said, “Ok, no need for the second fort” and they destroyed it.

The third: now we hear this; we heard this since maybe one or two years. Many of them, in the East and West, these bad scholars, ‘Ulamā'u s-Sū’ said, “Hadith is also not right. There is no need for Hadith.” Now the third fort of Islam, they are trying to destroy it. This is only Qur'an. Qur'an: we read, we can understand, we can give and follow the Qur’an. I don't know what they call them: Qur’anist or something like this, like fascist. So this is the fourth. And now we hear also about Qur’an. They say, “This is too much. We must take out many things in the Qur’an.”

This is what we Muslims must know: those who are attacking Ṭarīqah, attacking Tasawwuf. How important is this thing. All of them, we must have them together. You cannot leave one, “I don't want this.” You don't want, ok, but don't say it is not right. Many people are maybe Muslim but not in Ṭarīqah. Ok, but they respect Ahlu l-Bayt, they respect the Sahabah, they respect Awliyā’uLlah.

This is what was when we were before 40 years, 50 years […] “Rule them and see if they are looking at each other and taking example. Maybe if we do this, we will be more clever from these people who are old system, they don't know anything.”

They don't know what they are saying. Old system people have incredible intelligence. They are very, very clever. They have cleverness. You cannot believe it. The biggest [most advanced] computer cannot be compared with them. And these idiot people who are saying, “We are ‘Ulamas. We are scholars”, they think, “They don't know anything, and we now will correct what they are not knowing.”

Unfortunately, we are living in the time in which Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was saying about, “Jahiliyyah ath-Thaniyah”, “The Second Age of Ignorance.” The second time of ignorance. It is worse than the first. The first one was the time Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam [was born into]. And these people in the end accepted what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam brought. In the end, they were finished. And they spread the light of Islām in the East and West, in this dark century which Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says was the most dark century. But now, as Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was saying, it is worse, more darkness.

Because people in that time didn’t know anything. Many people didn’t know how to read or write. They knew nothing. But now they have everything. They have everything but they don't have a good thinking. Who has a good thinking, becomes a believer. Because it is like the sun, shining. But those who are blind are not seeing. They say, “There’s no sun.” The sun is still shining, but they are in darkness. They don't know. They don't believe.

For this, our time is really very dark. But it is also the most valuable time for the believer who can keep his belief. He will have endless blessings and rewards from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Because Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying, in Akhiru z-Zaman, who holds onto īmān, it is as he is holding onto a burning ember of fire in his hand.

Really, we are in this time. May Allāh ﷻ save us. May Allāh ﷻ keep us with iman everywhere. They said here it is bad, but also Muslim countries. There’s no much difference. Because Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was saying “Jahiliyyah ath-Thaniyah”, “The Second Age of Ignorance”, in the whole world; not only one place. Of course, some places more, some places less. But this situation, this Tajalli (manifestation) is upon the whole world. It must be like this for the sun of Islam to appear. Because after the most dark time at night comes the light, Fajr. Insha’Allah this light of Islam will come. We believe in this.

And of course we are Ṭarīqah people. They are those who must be happy with what Allāh ﷻ gives them: where they are, what they are doing and all of this. Ṭarīqah people must have Adab (good manners). Ṭarīqah means Adab and not complaining. We are living in a time, a difficult time, but AlhamduliLlah Allāh ﷻ will reward us. We are not complaining. We are not saying, “Why? Why are we in this time? We wish to be in a time better than this.” This time, Allāh ﷻ has written this, Allāh ﷻ wants this, it will happen.

Everywhere now in the world: oppression, war, killing in many places; and is this mostly in Muslim places. But Muslims know that when they have something and they not complaining for Allāh ﷻ, Allāh ﷻ rewards them. ‘ ’, ‘Innamā Yuwaffá s-Sābirūna 'Ajrahum Bighayri Ĥisāb’, ‘Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account.’ (Qur’ān 39:10). Allāh ﷻ will reward them without counting. He ﷻ will give from His ﷻ endless treasures. And of course, everything has wisdom. You cannot say, “If that happens, it will not happen. If it did not happen, this will not happen. Will happen, not happen.” These are empty words. Just be quiet and accept what Allāh ﷻ willed. When and what Allāh ﷻ wants, it will be happening. And this word is good tidings for us: the whole world insha’Allah after this darkness will be light, illuminated, the sun shining. The whole world will be changing from badness to goodness, to beauty and happiness in shā’a Llāh.

Of course this is not easy but we are, as we said, Ṭarīqah people don't worry. What will happen, we accept from Allāh Azza wa Jalla. We ask Him ﷻ to protect us in shā'a Llāh, protect our īmān. It is more important than ourselves. Our īmān it is more important. If we will be without iman, we don’t want this life. Take us before. Don't take our īmān, take ourselves instead. This is very important.

Believers now are afraid from everything. Don't be afraid of anything. What Allāh ﷻ wants will happen. Many of this kind of Awliyā’uLlah are not interfering in anything. Not even making Dua, “O Allāh ﷻ protect these people, protect us, protect them.” No, they are just quiet, looking at what Allāh ﷻ wants. If we interfere, we - they are saying that they will be against the will of Allāh ﷻ. For this, they are not saying anything. They are just making ‘ibadah (worship) and Shukr. And their hearts are only with Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This dunya, if the whole world burnt, they will not move their finger. There is such a kind of Awliyā’uLlah also.

We cannot do this of course. We can also make Dua to protect us, protect our Iman, protect Muslims, the whole world. Especially from these bad scholars who are attacking the belief of Muslims. They are worse than those who attack with bombs, with rockets, with bullets. They are worse than them. Because they are destroying

belief. When there is no belief, there is of no use for anybody. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from them insha’Allah. And give us strong iman insha’Allah.
