Protect Your Precious Iman

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

There are many enemies who want to take precious things. Be it jewels, money, or property; enemies think about how they will take it all the time. The most precious thing is Iman. And the biggest enemy is shaytan. He strives to steal your Iman all the time. He strives to take it away from you all the time.

So for some reason, there is no unity between Muslims. They cannot help each other. There are always disputes between them. But those astray, those with no Iman are united. Because they don’t have anything valuable. And because they don’t have something valuable, shaytan says, “They are already mine,” and he never approaches them. They are worse than shaytan anyways. They are going on the same way. Therefore, nothing comes close to them. He says, “They are exactly the way I want them to be. They are the enemies to people with Iman and Muslims. They are enemies to Allah ﷻ. We are on the same line. No fear for them. We should steal this valuable thing from our enemies and leave them in such a condition.”

We are showing this as a spiritual example. But it is also the same physically in this world. Wherever there is something valuable, the people of shaytan ask for it and rush there. They take that precious thing and cause a disaster to people. Some things are a disaster. But some things are precious, and we must protect them. Gold, petrol and this and that have many enemies; it is obvious. Wherever there are precious things like these in this world, people are oppressed there and taken that away from them. There is absolute poverty just like that. They have everything above and below them, but they own nothing. The enemy has taken that away.

Iman is more important. We must protect it. It has many enemies. As we said, the biggest enemy is shaytan, the ego. We must be careful and keep on going without falling into despair. We must protect it. Allah ﷻ will protect it. It is protected by praying, by walking on the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and walking on the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. May Allah ﷻ protect it. May we not desire the dirt of this world and lose the precious thing we own insha’Allah.
