The Good and Bad are for a Reason

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

“Min Kulli Shay’in Sababa”, “to everything a way.” (Qur’ān 18:84). Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created everything. He ﷻ is Al-Khaliq which means the Creator, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created every particle, every thing. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created the universe, Dunya and Akhirah. He ﷻ created it all. People’s minds cannot encompass His ﷻ greatness. Allah ﷻ created them, but some ignorant people question, “Why did Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla create bad ones as well?” They ask, “Why did He ﷻ create shaytan? Why did He ﷻ create mice and rats? Why did He ﷻ create lice and flies? Why did He ﷻ create bad people? Why did He ﷻ create oppressors?” and they pontificate.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created everything for a reason. What is the reason? To do the good and to do the bad. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created some things to do good things and some things to do badness. Why should that be? For a test. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, ‘ ’, ‘Li-yabluwakum ‘Ayyukum ‘Aĥsanu ‘Amalā’, ‘To test you [as to] which of you is best in deed.’ (Qur’ān 67:02). Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created the heavens, earth and everything as a test for you. This is bad, don’t go after the bad thing. This is shaytan, don’t go after shaytan. He ﷻ didn’t create shaytan for you to go after him. He ﷻ created him for you to run away from him. As you run away from him your rank increases, and you will win. But if you follow him, you will get worse.

Why did He ﷻ create mice and rats? To bring illnesses. Why did He ﷻ create lice? For the same reason. Allah ﷻ knows their reasons. However, clever people see this. They must say, “This is bad, we must stay away from it. We must finish it. We must not stand next to it. We must be clean, and we must be careful.” So they must be careful with Dunya. And they are taking care of Dunya. Infestation of rats occurred, and clever people came to their senses to clean them out. Flies and mosquitos bring other illnesses that need to be cleaned. These are the apparent things.

Spiritually, we are shown bad people not to follow them. Whoever follows them will perish. He won’t attain anything in this world, and he will be finished in Akhirah. Whoever follows shaytan will not go to paradise but to hell, of course. Who stays away from him will go to paradise, and his rank will be high.

Don’t object against everything in this world by questioning them. Interference in the business of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and objection puts you in danger. You may lose your Iman. When you lose Iman, Kufr comes. Therefore, we must be careful. Some people are attacking our Holy Prophet ﷺ in the same manner. They attack Sahabahs, they attack Ahlu l-Bayt. Their duty is to mislead people from the way. Those who go against them and don’t listen to them are in profit. Such people are this way by the will of Allah ﷻ, they were created like that.

As we said, good ones and bad ones are created for a reason. It is Dunya here. Everything happens, and you must protect yourself. Just like a person protects himself, hides and defends in the war, you must stay away from these bad people and strengthen your Iman by being with good people instead. May Allah ﷻ help us all. May we not be with bad people. May we not be with bad things insha’Allah.

As we are in the end of times, there is a lot of badness, and bad ones have become strong. People have gone astray. But nothing comes from the majority. Minority is always with the truth. There are strong people steadfast on the way of Haqq with the permission of Allah ﷻ, both physically and spiritually insha’Allah. They will win insha’Allah.
