Happiness is on His ﷻ Way

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Shukr to Allah ﷻ, we’ve been to a holy place. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has given Barakah to Egypt. It is mentioned in Qur’an as well, Rahim: ‘ ’, ‘Adkhulū Mişra 'In Shā'a Allāhu 'Āminīn’, ‘Enter Egypt, Allah willing, safe [and secure].’ (Qur’an 12:99). There are many great Awliya’, grandchildren of our Holy Prophet ﷺ and Ahlu l-Bayt starting with Sayyidina Hussein and Sayyidatina Zaynab Hanim. Many scholars and Awliya’ have gone there for knowledge and guidance. They get their Barakah. There is Barakah wherever Awliya’ are. Their benefit is that the mercy of Allah ﷻ always comes upon them. When it comes, people around them benefit from it as well.

People are in bad conditions most of the time. They suffer in their graves. All of a sudden you may see someone in your dream, that he is suffering. But after asking for forgiveness for him you see in your dream that he is saved and in paradise. You ask how that has happened. “A righteous person is buried in our graveyard. For his honor, those around him have attained his intercession. And their suffering is over. It is replaced with paradise. And they are relieved.” The more righteous Awliya, Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah are in those towns, the more mercy comes upon them. Both the dead and alive benefit from it.

Most people don’t know and don’t accept this. There is a new group among Muslims who don’t accept it too. Non-Muslims don’t accept anything anyway. They live by without any Barakah. They complain saying, “Why are we living?” and feel distressed. Their lives pass in distress and shortage. That shortage is not the worldly shortage. They’ve got everything from this world. Non-Muslims have the most of Dunya. But places we’ve been to have no worldly riches, there is poverty. There is poverty; but there is richness of heart and richness of Iman. They are happy with this. They have found happiness.

Those who’ve got Dunya but who don’t walk on the way of Allah ﷻ, who go against Allah ﷻ are certainly in distress. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says in Qur’an, ‘ ’, ‘Wa Man ‘A’rada an Dhikrī Fa inna Lahu Ma’īshatan Dankāan’, ‘And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life. (Qur’ān 20:124). “Whoever goes away from My way has a distressed life.” He is stressed and has all kinds of badness. Those who walk on the way of Allah ﷻ will certainly reach happiness both here and hereafter. Even if they are poor in this world, they will be happy with little from favors given by Allah ﷻ. They get happy and make Shukr to Allah ﷻ.

Otherwise, no matter how much they are given, they still get angry and want to go against everyone, against the government, or those above them. They don’t get full. They ask for more as they think they will be happier, whereas happiness is found in those who walk on the way of Allah ﷻ. May Allah ﷻ make us all steadfast on that way. May we be happy here and hereafter insha’Allah.
