Honoring Mawlana in Al-Ashraf Syndicate

Hello and welcome. In order to give the words to the honorable scholars, allow me before we speak, I hope for us to grant his Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani, in honor of this visit, the “Prophet’s ﷺ Holy Seal”. It is the highest badge of honor in El Sadah El Ashraf Syndicate awarded to an Islamic religious figure.

Moderator: As our Sheikh, Sayyidina Sheikh Ali Jumaa says in the Siddiqi Shadhili Tariqah: “The way to Allāh ﷻ is passing from deviation to guidance, from darkness to light.” Yes, these are the ways. When we know the truths, we go on the ways to Allāh ﷻ.

The Golden Chain of the Naqshbandi Tariqah, and who sits with us in this hall, and whom Cairo and all of Egypt welcomes him and his honorable companions. He is the forty-first caliph in the Golden Chain who succeeded his father and inherited his state, Sheikh Muhammad Nazim Al-Haqqani, may Allāh ﷻ be pleased with him and please him. This holy, noble, golden chain in which the light passes just as it passes in the Shadhili chain and in the luminous chains that sought the lights from our Master ﷺ salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.

He ﷺ is free from a partner in his ﷺ virtues, the essence of the goodness in him ﷺ is undivided, the utmost knowledge in him ﷺ is that he ﷺ is human and that he ﷺ is the best of all of Allāh’s ﷻ creation. And every miracle the noble messengers brought, for it was connected from his ﷺ light to them. So honor the creation of a prophet ﷺ who was adorned with good manners, encompassing beneficence and attributed with joy. He ﷺ is as flowers in luxury, the full moon in honor and the sea in generosity.

And now with the speech of His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Adil Efendi Ar-Rabbani Al-Naqshbandi, the Sheikh of the Naqshbandi Tariqah in the Islamic world, so may he honor us. I forgot to tell you Sayyidi: Egypt tells you: “O our guest, if you visited us, you would find us the guests and you the father of the house.”

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Dastur ya Sayyidina Al-Hussein, Dastur ya Sayyidatuna Zaynab, Dastur ya Nafeesa At-Tahirah, Madad ya Ahlu l-Bayt, Madad ya RijalaLlah (O men of Allāh ﷻ). This now is an indescribable happiness in your presence, the presence of El Ashraf syndicate. This is what we learned from our father. Throughout his life, he honored the Ashraf, honored Ahlu l-Bayt. The Sadat and the Ashraf are all upon our head. As you said, they are the blessing, they are the happiness.

This syndicate is the most honorable institution in the world. O Allāh ﷻ, we thank you for this honoring for us from the people of Egypt. They deserve all the goodness. We thank them and beg Allāh ﷻ to protect them and make them victorious against their enemies, and to make Muslims victorious and protect them from the evil of the oppressors.

AlhamduliLlah. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “Wa bash-shir as-sabireen”, “Give good tidings to the patient.” For this, the Muslim is protected. If Allāh ﷻ honored him and he was patient, the reward for him is without account. Ahlu l-Bayt are an example, the greatest example of this patience, this endurance. If there was no benefit in what they endured, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla would not have given this destiny to Ahlu l-Bayt. All of them were patient, endured and were martyred, but they are the sultans until the Day of Resurrection. And in Paradise also, they are the youth of the people of Paradise.

AlhamduliLlah who understands this, follows the saying of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and honors Ahlu l-Bayt. He doesn’t say, “He ﷺ is like us. He ﷺ is a messenger, he ﷺ is dead and gone.” He doesn’t say that. The martyrs are alive, what about the Messenger of Allah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam! He ﷺ is alive with the permission of Allāh ﷻ, with us, returning to us the greetings: Peace and blessings. Wherever we say this: “May Allah’s ﷻ peace and blessings be upon him, peace and blessings be upon you O Messenger of Allah,” he ﷺ returns for us our greeting.

Yes, this is a truth; Muslims should understand it. AlhamduliLlah most of the times we gather and hear from people things that are not right in their belief, it is a weak belief. AlhamduliLlah here in Egypt, they are the people of the right belief. Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the head of Muslims: his creed is 100% right. He says and all the Sunnis follow him. He said: “Honor Ahlu l-Bayt, praise our Prophet Muhammad salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.” This is what the Awliyā and the righteous say. This is our way, the way of happiness and the way of salvation. Without the love of Ahlu l-Bayt and without the love of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, our deeds are nothing. We scholars or Faqihs: they all know this. He who denies this does not attain the intercession of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Our deeds are nothing without the love of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Insha’Allah we love our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, we love Ahlu l-Bayt. Insha’Allah they love us, insha’Allah., “Hadha Min Fadhli Rabbi”, “This is from the grace of my Lord.” Thank you for this honoring, this meeting. We don’t deserve, we are shy of you all and the honorable ones here. Thank you.

Moderator: You are worthier of this and deserving of this Sayyidi. Yes, we tell you with everything there is within us: Every land you descend upon revives as if all parts of the earth were meters, and the eye craves from you a good look as if you are in people’s eyes flowers, and your light the passenger is guided by as if you are moons in the darkness of the night. May Allāh ﷻ be pleased with you all.
