Our Goal is Allah’s ﷻ Pleasure

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

We are going on a trip [to Egypt] according to the Sunnah of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. May Allah ﷻ be pleased with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and may his rank be high. His followers are everywhere. There are many people who met him and many who didn’t. In order to make them happy and for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ we are going on this trip. May Allah ﷻ bless it for them, and may it be blessed for us. May Allah ﷻ accept it.

Journeys are for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ, not for this world. Journeys for this world are useless. We must do everything for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. Therefore, every action you make should be for Allah ﷻ. BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim: ‘ )162 ( ’, ‘Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. (162) No partner has He’, ‘Qul 'Inna Şalātī Wa Nusukī Wa Maĥyāya Wa Mamātī Lillāh Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (162) Lā Sharīka Lahu’ (Qur’an 06:162-163). As Sayyidina Ibrahim said, “May my life and my death be for Allah ﷻ, on the way of Allah ﷻ. We are ordered this.” This is a beautiful Ayah in Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan. We are living for this. Our goal is this. Our goal is not to eat and drink, to put on weight, or to enjoy ourselves. These happen too as we are humans. But if they are for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ when we do them, you are in profit then. They become beneficial to you.

Otherwise, you live without having any benefit. Especially, those who don’t believe in Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla are in a totally bad situation. Their works brings loss. Ordinary Muslims are also heedless when they are not in Tariqah. Those in Tariqah have their hearts and eyes open a little insha’Allah. What they do is good, because there is a person ahead of them who shows them the direction. When there is no one to show the direction, you either remain where you are, or get confused and go in a different direction. Therefore, Murshid is important. He shows the direction. He always shows the direction to the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ which is the right way, for us to be on the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ and to not go astray. Who doesn’t have Murshid certainly loses his way. Therefore, we should be on the way of Allah ﷻ and connect to a Murshid. Insha’Allah it will be a beautiful way for all of us. And He ﷻ will make us steadfast.

As we said, followers are increasing all over the world with the Barakah of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and with the Himmah of our Shaykh. They are the people who don’t interfere with anyone and don’t argue with anyone insha’Allah. Because Allah ﷻ has granted something to everyone. If you are granted something beautiful, make Shukr. If someone else is not granted, don’t bother about it. Because it is the time of Fitnah, you never know what happens. Therefore, you walk on your way. Whoever wants to join, they will come insha’Allah. No need to make noise and to argue with those who object it. Walk on your way, and Allah ﷻ will help you insha’Allah. May our way be blessed. May it be good insha’Allah.
