Wake Up and Catch the Time

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 03:140). ‘Wa-tilka l-ayyāmu nudāwiluhā bayna n-nās’, ‘And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people.’ Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘aẓīm. This world is a series of days where everyone will be gone. Everyone owns something when the time comes. And then others come in their place. They deal with it for some period of time and then others come again.

This is how Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla made it in this world; everyone will have it but days will pass and be gone. There is nothing eternal here. Eternal is ākhirah. We should prepare ourselves for that. We should work and strive for that. That must be our goal. Otherwise, time of this world is limited. It is restricted. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave it to everyone. And He ﷻ gave mind to everyone so that they evaluate that precious time.

But people, especially people of the end of times think there is a lot of time. They see it as too much. And they waste it on useless things. What is a useless thing? What they do is just to make their egos happy, to make their egos content. If you remember Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, you take your ego out of the way and attain the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ. But if it is only to satisfy your ego just like most people do, if it is to make your ego happy and have fun, then it is wasted. Days will be wasted too. It will be the turn of those who will come after you. May Allāh ﷻ let us do good things inshā’Allāh. That is the important thing.

Days are passing by indeed. Mawlid is over too. We came here. And today, not even tomorrow we are going back again. We will come again inshā’Allāh. We will return. It is important to spend such days with such blessed people for the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ. It is important to be with good people. The intention to attain the pleasure of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is important.

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ. When you make shukr to Allāh ﷻ, He ﷻ increases it. If you don't make shukr, it will be decreased. Therefore, we are making shukr. It is a great favour for all of us to be together with good people who gather for the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ everywhere we go. It is a great happiness. These days didn't pass for nothing with the permission of Allāh ﷻ.
