Pray for Protection

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying that in the end of times, because of fitnah and the spoiling of people, everything will be spoilt. Rain will fall as a disaster. Children will bring not goodness but evil to people, says our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.

We are living in such a time. Everywhere, wherever you look at the news, things that were normally sent as favours are sent as punishment by Allāh ﷻ. You want rain? Have some rain! He ﷻ drowns people in rain. You want children? Have a child! And that child drives the family crazy. These are the issues of the end of times.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ always told us what to do in order to be protected from this. We should know there is a solution for everything in this life. Be with Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. We should beg Allāh ﷻ and ask for protection so that Allāh ﷻ protects people. Everything has its du‘ā’. Everyone can make it. As we read it in khuṭbah now, sometimes a lightning may strike a person. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam recites that āyah and makes du‘ā’ then. When that's made, there is protection with the permission of Allāh ﷻ.

Same with rainfalls. If the rain is severe, we should repent and ask forgiveness in order to be protected. Nothing else. Sometimes warnings are made in the news to be careful about the upcoming severe rain. People should be careful, of course. People should be careful and seek refuge in Allāh ﷻ. When they trust in Allāh ﷻ, they'll certainly be protected inshā’Allāh.

Also, do not put yourself in danger, says Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. If you build a house or a building on inappropriate places, you will have put yourself in danger. It will be your fault. Therefore, people must be careful in everything. Because there is an order of our Holy Prophet ﷺ for people to be careful. "‘Āqil wa tawakkal". Watch out first, think, contemplate, and then submit. It is not a smart thing to throw yourself in the flood and say you submit. A clever thing is to pay attention to these things and to stay away from dangerous places and things. As we said, this time is a dangerous time. We need to be very careful. We must be careful. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May Allāh ﷻ help people.

People are doing things as they like. And then they face loss. It is not only physical, worldly things. They are doing useless things for ākhirah as well. They are losing their ākhirah. It is ok to lose in this world. But it's bad to lose in ākhirah. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.
