Old Time People More Knowledgeable

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

“Wa-Llāhu ‘alá kulli shay’in qadīr”, “And Allah is over all things competent.”(Qur’an 03:189) Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is powerful over everything. Everything is in His ﷻ power. Nothing is difficult for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Allāh ﷻ does everything. Allāh ﷻ created everything. Our grandfathers say the mind cannot comprehend the work of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Out of their Adab, they say they cannot comprehend what Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla does. And they would never even approach His ﷻ essence. Not because of Adab, but because of danger.

People of old times - People of present time think that old people were stupid and mindless. There were no universities, no schools and so on. They think those people didn't know anything. And they claim they know now. There are universities. They say, “I graduated from 3-5 universities.” And it is obligatory to send children to school. It wasn't so in old times. Who could, studied. Who couldn't, it was ok. But now it is mandatory. In some countries, you can go to jail for it. In other countries, you must pay a fine. And are they learning anything? No. What they teach is ignorance; nothing else.

Old time people were a thousand times cleverer than them, a thousand times more knowledgeable. Knowledge is to obey the order of Allāh ‘Azza waJalla, to know your limits. If everyone knows their limits, there won't be any problem. But everyone has exceeded their limits. They have surpassed others’ limits. They have surpassed others privacy. Whereas people of old times questioned themselves. They thought about the good and the bad, and lived with respect and honor. They lived with love towards each other.

But people of the present time don't have this at all. The more they claim to learn something, the more they fall into ingnorance and unawareness. Learning is not knowledge. Living is the knowledge. Knowledge is to live like a human. Old time people lived like humans. Everything people of the present time have is enmity between each other, jealousy and competition between each other. This is what they are tought.

Therefore, as we said, they don't look at the power of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. They look into what is how and so on. Whereas if they look into this universe created by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, insects, animals, people and jinns, they cannot comprehend how these work. How can you understand things planned by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla? Therefore, we can learn only a part of it through the Prophets. And they teach us as much as Allāh ﷻ allows them to. Therefore, people of old times and people who walked on their way know something, they believe in something. And that is: qiyāmah, ākhirah, the end of times.

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we are living in the end of times. It is near. There will be salvation for humanity after this. People have no other solution. They have tried everything. But they didn't see any benefit from anything. They must turn to Allāh ﷻ in order to see the benefit. They must obey the will of Allāh ﷻ. You may not accept it as much as you want. The truth won't change by your reluctance to accept it. Therefore, who is clever obeys Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Many people don't obey Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, they obey shayṭān. And their condition is in destruction. May Allāh ﷻ protect all of us.
