The Highest in the World

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 03:195). ‘Annī Lā ‘Udī’u ‘Amala ‘Āmilin Minkum Min Dhakarin ‘Aw ‘Untha’, ‘Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female.’

Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla says that He ﷻ doesn’t lose any good deed of yours, from man and woman; Allah ﷻ keeps this for you. For this, we are trying to do good things, and we are sure that Allah ﷻ will keep our good deeds and He ﷻ will forgive the bad ones if we ask for forgiveness.

This is good tidings for human beings. Because normally in life, if you do something, they don’t forgive you. If someone does anything against the law and after that says, “Okay, I regret it. Please forgive me” I don’t think that any country from your civilized countries will forgive him. But Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla forgives. He ﷻ said, “For anything you do, there’s a way for you to save yourself and to be in a good position after this.” For this, we are lucky that Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla is the Most Merciful. He ﷻ doesn’t treat us with His ﷻ anger, He ﷻ treats us with His ﷻ Mercy and His ﷻ Patience.

But people don’t have patience. And especially belief, very few people have it. Everything from your birth to your death is not in vain. You must have something. You must collect good things for there. Allah ﷻ said, “I will not lose it.” From beginning to end, you must know this and not be hopeless [saying], “We are living in this life without any reason.” Don’t say, “I am living like grass or like wood. I feel nothing. I don’t know why I’m here. I have nothing, only nothing.”

Don’t say this because in these last years, it became too much for people and they [the ones responsible for that] thought they are clever.

Allah ﷻ created you in the best shape and made you the highest in this world. ‘ ’, ‘Wa Laqad Karramnā Banī ‘Ādam, ‘And We have certainly honored the children of Adam.’ (Qur’ān 17:70). “We made Bani ‘Adam, human beings, the highest.” And He ﷻ made everything for them, to serve them, to help them, to be good for them. If you are not rich, if you don’t have a house, if you don’t have work, if you don’t have a job, if you don’t have a wife or anything else, don’t be against Allah ﷻ or don’t say “I don’t have anything in this life.” You are the best among creatures; you must know this. It’s not important to be rich, it’s not important to be beautiful. You are a human being, it’s the most precious thing that Allah ﷻ gave you. You must be thankful to Allah ﷻ, Allah ﷻ will be happy with you. And when Allah ﷻ is happy with you, everything will be good for you. If Allah ﷻ is not happy with you, that time it’ll be a problem. Nothing can save you; no money, no beauty, no richness, no cleverness. Nothing can save you if Allah ﷻ doesn’t love you.

Allah ﷻ does what He ﷻ wants. Many people cannot understand what He ﷻ is doing. Many times something happens, and people are not happy with it, but usually it later turns out to be good for them. And sometimes it’s not like this. Sometimes they’re happy with something and after that this thing turns out to be bad for them. For this, we must depend on Allah ﷻ and say, “We are happy with what happened because this is the will of Allah ﷻ and everything He ﷻ does is good for us.” Everyone will have an experience like this. Sometimes something doesn’t happen and the person is unhappy, but later something happens and he is very happy that [the former] didn’t happen to him.

We must be patient and depend on Allah ﷻ, believe in Allah ﷻ, be a believer and have a strong belief. Mawlana Sheikh Nazim has a famous saying, , “The best arrangement is not to arrange.” Just leave yourself for the will of Allah ﷻ. May Allah ﷻ help us.
