Allah ﷻ is Our Shelter

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

We are thanking Allah ﷻ, that we met again because many things happened in these 2 years. Allah ﷻ gave us this favor to meet again Alhamdulillah. This is a big favor from Allah ﷻ -. We meet on this holy, blessed Night, the Night of 15th of Sha’ban, and at the same time Jum’ah, Friday night. These two nights are very blessed and very good for Mu’mins. Allah ﷻ gave them for the Ummah of Sayyidina Muhammad salla Llahu aa’layhi wa sallam.

So Alhamdulillah we are thanking Him ﷻ for His ﷻ Ni’mah, His ﷻ favor. Nobody can give what Allah ﷻ gives, and nobody can prevent what Allah ﷻ prevents. This is our belief. After Maghrib [prayer] we read 3 times Surat Yasin,

each one for a [specific] Niyyah/intention. And in the Dua we say, “O Protector, There is no resort and no deliverer from (hardships) except You”. If we are not safe, we have Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla to be protected by Him ﷻ, we have a Shelter. Our Shelter is Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. The unbelievers don’t have anything to shelter them. When something happens they try to protect themselves, but they cannot protect themselves from everything.

As we said before, people know that something will happen, so they prepare to protect themselves. Believers must believe that Allah ﷻ is our Shelter. Allah ﷻ says “I protect you”., “O Guardian of the fearful, O Protector of the fearful, O Neighbor of those who seek nearness.” With all of this, Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla is giving us good tidings. So the believers/Mu’mins must believe in this, because nothing can prevent what Allah ﷻ wants.

There is the story of Nimrod. He made a big fire to burn Sayyidina Ibrahim ‘alayhi s-salām. For many months, maybe for more than a year, they were collecting wood from everywhere. They made a big fire, and they threw Sayyidina Ibrahim

‘alayhi s-salām in it. They said, “Anybody burns if he gets near it, how did they throw him?” With some kind of machine called catapult, which throws from maybe 500 yards or more, or maybe even more. They put him and threw him. Normally, when they throw him he must die when he arrives there, because it [the fire] is very strong. But Allah ﷻ protected him from it. Whoever comes maybe 200 yards near this fire will burn. For this, they threw him from afar. They thought that he was dead, and that he will be an example for people to not follow Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. But what happened? Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla protected Sayyidina Ibrahim ‘alayhi ssalām and it became paradise; it was cool and with water. And he was protected in this big fire.

After that, Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla ordered the weakest army – the mosquitos. They came at Nimrod’s army, which were very tough and very strong, and had shields on them so nobody can beat them. But Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla wants to give an example to people; who understands must understand this until Yawmu l-Qiyamah. What happened is that they came [over them] like a cloud and attacked the army of Nimrod. They were going in millions and they were eating them, and going inside [their bodies] where nobody can prevent them. Only [their] bones were left. All of this army was finished.

When Nimrod saw this he quickly went to a bunker and closed himself in it. He said, “Now I am safe, nothing can happen to me. I’ve prepared myself for an atomic war, for anything”. So he was happy; all the people can die, no problem. So for Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla to also make an example for people to see His ﷻ Power, His ﷻ Mighty, He ﷻ sent the weakest mosquito; it even had a broken leg, walking like this, like this. It found a place and came through it to reach him inside. It went into his nose and to his brain, and began to eat his brain. It was so harmful, so painful for him. Every time it was doing this, he would hit his head and it would stop. Later, this mosquito became bigger and it wouldn’t stop [with his hitting]. He said, “Bring [something] and hit my head”. After, it started getting bigger and bigger. Every time he hits his head, it stops a little bit. After that, it became very painful, he said “Hit me more strongly”. When they hit, it stops. And then after maybe 10 days or one month, it became bigger and bigger. And he was shouting, and they were hitting him strongly. In the end, he said “More and more” so they hit him one [hit] and his head blew up. And that mosquito went out; it became like a bird. And he died there.

When Allah ﷻ wants something, you cannot prevent it. For nonbelievers, this is a very good example which Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla told us in the Holy Qur’an. Even when he was in his room, something came and nobody could save him. And

as Sayyidina Ibrahim, if you are in fire, when Allah ﷻ wants to save you, it will be paradise, not fire, and nothing will affect you.

We are in these tough days. We are living in time of Fitnah. People don’t know what will happen. Many of them are becoming stressed and anxious, [worrying] “What will happen in this Dunya?” Don’t worry. You have a very strong Shelter.

And it was also for Sayyidina Lut ‘alayhi s-salām. When angels came to tell him to go out from here, they came [in the form of] as men, as people. And these unusual people who were doing bad things, were happy that they have other people to harm and rape. So they were happy. But when Sayyidina Lut ‘alayhi s-salām saw his people, he was very ashamed. He said, “This is very tough. What can we do?” He forgot, ‘ ’, ‘Aw ‘awī ila Ruknin Shadīd’, ‘Or could take refuge in a strong support.’ (Qur’ān 11:80). “Ruknin Shadīd” is Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. So for this, he repented because he forgot to take shelter in Allah ﷻ and he was afraid from his people. So after this they were finished.

Don’t be afraid from anything. If you have belief, belief in Allah ﷻ - Alhamdulillah in the last days before Mawlana left us, he was telling people – before, he was going here and going there – but with his Karamah, he said “For everybody who stays in his house, [there’s] no harm. You put [provision] of two or three months, it’s enough for you, no need for more. Allah ﷻ will protect you.” Before, of course with his Karamah, he was traveling here and there, but then it was very dangerous [for him] to travel anywhere. So best is you must believe and if anything happens stay in your house. Our Shelter is Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. Read Ayatul Kursi around your house and sit, and nothing insha’Allah will affect you.

Insha’Allah, /with Allah’s permission, Allah ﷻ will protect us. As we said, a very good example is Sayyidina Ibrahim ‘alayhi s-salām. He was in fire and nothing happened to him. So this is what we must do in these days, our days. Insha’Allah because we are believers, we get benefit and reward from Allah ﷻ in everything. These tough days, difficult days are not empty [in vain] for us. As we are in Jihad, as we are on the way of Allah ﷻ, Allah ﷻ will reward us insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ give us to reach Sayyidina Al Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salām insha’Allah. They say, “This is the Third World War”, [but] it began many years ago. Insha’Allah it will end with Sayyidina Al Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salām and Isa ‘alayhi s-salām. Because every day, everything is becoming worse and worse. It will only be good and everything will be at best with Sayyidina Al Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salām and Isa ‘alayhi s-salām

insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ send them. May Allah ﷻ give them power to save this Ummah insha’Allah.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

It is a holy night. Insha’Allah after Dhikr, we will pray Salatul Tasabih. And in this night, there is 100 Raka’ah. Insha’Allah everybody can pray it in his house, slowly slowly; you can pray it while sitting or standing because it is Nafl. In the first Raka’ah read 2 Surat al Ikhlas, and in the second Rak’aah [read] 1 Surat al Ikhlas.

Tomorrow insha’Allah is 15th of Sha’ban. The Prophet salla Llahu aa’layhi wa sallam says, - make Qiyamu Layl and Fast its day. Insha’Allah we are fasting tomorrow for the Barakah of 15th of Sha’ban and as Sunnah of RasuluLlah salla Llahu aa’layhi wa sallam. May Allah ﷻ make it blessed and insha’Allah it will be of Barakah for us. We make Dua to reach the next 15th of Sha’ban with Barakah and with Khayr insha’Allah. Mubarak insha’Allah.
