Land from Which Light Spread
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
AlhamduliLlah this journey of ours [to Central Asia] went beautifully; shukr to Allāh ﷻ. We visited the blessed ones; ten from among our mashāyikh. Apart from them, there are many other scholars and blessed ones in that region. It is Allah’s ﷻ wisdom that people beneficial to the world have emerged from that area. They have taught and instructed people, in a beautiful manner, in both worldly knowledge, spiritual knowledge and that of the Hereafter, including the religion, sharī’ah and ṭarīqah. At one time, a period of communism swept through those lands; they thought they had completely eradicated everything. Yet, Masha’Allah—much like lush green grass sprouting anew from parched, mown earth—we thank Allāh ﷻ that wonderful people, scholars, hafiz, and men of learning are once again being raised; sharī’ah and ṭarīqah and worldly knowledge continue to be taught just as before. This is Allah’s ﷻ wisdom. Allāh ﷻ declares that His ﷻ Light continues. No one can extinguish or sever the Light of Allāh ﷻ.
Therefore, Masha’Allah, this visit of ours was truly beautiful. The state of our blessed brothers and the people there is beautiful. Even if they do not—or even if they are ordinary people—they hold immense respect for the religion and for the people of the ṭarīqah. Of course, shayṭān never rests; he always seeks to stir up trouble, but in shā’a Llāh, his influence will no longer prevail. In shā’a Llāh, from now on, the Truth (Haqq) shall endure; for barakah, goodness, and benefit lie with the Truth. To walk the way of Allāh ﷻ is to walk a beautiful way. The journey along this way is beautiful, and its end is beautiful, too. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, with every visit, we witness the service expanding further and see people turning toward the religion and holding fast to the commands of Allāh ﷻ. Masha’Allah, mosques are overflowing with congregations. New mosques are being built.
Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, all that we see here is truly something that makes one happy. What brings true joy to a person is the way of Allāh ﷻ; it is the blessings of īmān and Islām that He ﷻ has bestowed. A person who turns away from the Hereafter to pursue the world— valuing only worldly things—finds neither joy nor peace of mind; they live in a state of constant anxiety and distress. Yet, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has granted you the greatest blessing: He ﷻ has given you īmān and shown you the true way. Remain steadfast on this
way so that you may attain happiness. May Allāh ﷻ never let any of us stray from that way, in shā’a Llāh.
It is the way of the blessed ones. Although, from the outside, one might see only the maqāms of three or four hundred blessed ones, in reality, hundreds of thousands—even millions—of blessed ones have emerged from those lands. Naturally, since they did everything solely for the sake of Allāh ﷻ, they sought neither fame nor any other worldly gain. Consequently, their end was one of goodness and barakah. Barakah overflow from those lands, spreading in every direction. May Allāh ﷻ make these barakāt everlasting. May our visit be accepted, in shā’a Llāh.
Wa min Allāhi t-Tawfīq. Al-Fātiḥa.
