Don’t Stray from the Right Way

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm,

“Wa ’Anna Hādhā Şirāţī Mustaqīmāan Fa Attabiūhu ◌ Wa Lā Tattabiū As-Subula Fatafarraqa Bikum `An Sabīlihi", “And verily, this (i.e. Allāh’s Commandments mentioned in the above two Verses 151 and 152) is my Straight way, so follow it, and follow not (other) ways, for they will separate you away from His way.” (Qur’an 06:153). Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, be on the right way. Do not stray from the right way. If you stray from the right way, you will be lost. Many ways will appear before you. These are ways without end, and they will destroy you.

Now, the way is clear; the way of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is clear. All the Companions, Ahlu l-Bayt, and the imāms of madhhab and imāms of itiqād who followed him ﷺ all follow that way. Those who strayed from that way have perished. They have led many others astray and destroyed them along with them.

Therefore, if you are on the right way, do not change it. If you are on the way of truth, do not let others deceive you, do not go down other ways. Because after our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, many false prophets and liars emerged. Those who said, “Do this, do that, leave that,” all of them have disappeared. Those who followed them have also disappeared. Those who are on the way of truth, however, continue. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, this way will continue until the Day of Judgment.

Sometimes, naive people wonder, when someone comes along and says, “I am a sheikh, I am this, I am that,” how can you tell if they are on the right way? A person who follows the way of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, who prays and supplicates, who respects and loves the Ahlu l-Bayt and the Companions, is on the right way. Anyone who opposes them or objects to them has gone astray. May they repent and return to the right way, in shā’a Llāh. Because now there are so many things that cause confusion. People don’t read books, they don’t research anything. They rely on hearsay – or rather,

not even hearsay; they look at these devices [phones] of theirs and listen to those who make pronouncements. This confuses them. First, they love some, and hate others; later, they hate even those they once loved and fall into sin.

Therefore, this point is very important: Respecting the Companions and Ahlu l-Bayt is crucial. Anyone who deviates from this has gone astray. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May Allāh ﷻ keep us all steadfast on the right way, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ keep us all steadfast and protect us on this beautiful way.
