Make Du’ā’ for Mercy and Barakah
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said that in the end of times, the rain will turn into a calamity due to its intensity. He ﷺ also said that children will be difficult. This is the state of the world in the end times. These states arise from the wickedness and lack of īmān of people. Mercy falls, but sometimes it turns into floods and calamities. Therefore, we must make du’ā’; we must make du’ā’ that the rain falls as mercy, not calamity. We must always be in du’ā’, for if you remember Allāh ﷻ, Allāh ﷻ will give you from His ﷻ bounty. He ﷻ will have mercy on you and keep calamities away from you.
So, these times are like this, but if we live to see that time, in shā’a Llāh, everything will be much different in the time of the Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salām. Because the end of the world will have come; all goodness and barakah will be revealed. Rain will fall beautifully at night, and a sun that does not harm will shine during the day. The barakah of everything will come out. The trees, greenery, fruits, and vegetables of the earth will be as bountiful as they once were. Because the food of this time has gradually lost its taste. There is no trace of those old, delicious flavors. Because of the darkness and the way people have tampered with nature and corrupted everything, neither taste nor barakah remains. That’s why they say, “Don’t eat bread, don’t eat this, don’t eat that.” Why? Because it’s genetically modified. Because its nature has been tampered with, its structure has changed and it has become harmful to humans. Of course, there is no harm if you eat it with saying BismiLlāh. Of course, everything should be consumed in moderation; there should be no excess.
Therefore, we should make shukr for what Allāh ﷻ has given us - by remembering Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla every day and saying BismiLlāh - we should make this du’ā’: For the sake of our Prophet Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, may the sustenance You have given us be a blessing and not a calamity. May Allāh ﷻ make it a means of good. May all these blessed gifts from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla bring goodness. May they be a blessing for all of us and strengthen our īmān, in shā’a Llāh.
Wa min Allāhi t-Tawfīq. Al-Fātiḥa.
