Our Way is Sincerity

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

The Naqshbandi ṭarīqah, shukr to Allāh ﷻ, is a way, that gathers good people so that, in shā’a Llāh, people’s morals may become better. It is the way Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam love. It is the essence of sharī’ah. It does not compromise sharī’ah; it is a tarīq, a way. Those who enter this way, those who are blessed by it, are among the beloved servants of Allāh ﷻ, in shā’a Llāh.

Therefore, the mashāyikh have followed this way since the time of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam for the service of people and for the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ. May Allāh ﷻ elevate their ranks. May their himmah be present. Their himmah is constant. Without this himmah, the world would not stand. Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wasallam said: “It is for the sake of those blessed people that rain and barakah come to you, and through them you achieve victory.” All kinds of goodness is for their sake. Because their essence is sincerity. Sincerity is not for personal gain. It is not for anything at all. Every day they say, “Ilahi Anta maqsudi wa Ridaka matlubi”, “O, my Lord! You are my objective and Your Pleasure is my request.” My aim is You, O Allāh. What we desire is Your pleasure. Nothing else. People find it difficult to do this; it is hard for them to do it purely for the sake of Allāh ﷻ. Most of the time they do it for personal gain.

Therefore, without their himmah, people cannot be saved. From our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam’s mercy he always said “My Ummah” and asked Allāh ﷻ for intercession, which is a great benefit for this ummah. Without his himmah (support) and intercession, there is no salvation. The way of the one who lacks sincerity, goodness, and beauty is not the right way. The true way, in shā’a Llāh, is the way of those who are with our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Those who follow him ﷺ have attained happiness. Their end is beautiful, their lives are beautiful, and their companionship with people is beautiful. They are barakah, they spread barakah around them, and they live with blessings. Through this barakah, in shā’a Llāh, their himmah will reach people as well, shukr to Allāh ﷻ.

May Allāh ﷻ keep us on the right way. May He ﷻ make us a means of guidance for people, in shā’a Llāh. What’s important is sincerity. Being sincere for the sake of Allāh ﷻ is the most important thing. Associating partners with Allāh ﷻ is called shirk. However, if there is no sincerity, if worship is not pure, then it becomes shirk (polytheism). If you want to harm others for personal gain in your heart – and you mix this into sincerity – that is shirk. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May Allāh ﷻ keep us all steadfast on this way, in shā’a Llāh. May guidance be granted to all people, in shā’a Llāh.

Wa min Allāhi t-Tawfīq. Al-Fātiḥa.

There are complete recitations of the Qur’ān, surahs, verses, Yasin, tasbihs, tahlilāt, salawāt, recitations of Dalail Al-Khayrāt, and all kinds of good deeds, for the sake of Allāh ﷻ. For the sake of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, for the souls of his Ahlu l-Bayt and ṣaḥābah. For the souls of all prophets, Awliyā’, asfiya, mashāyikh. For the souls of our ancestors. For the souls of believing men and women, Muslim men and women. For goodness to come and evil to be gone. For the strength of our īmān. For happiness here and hereafter.
