The Worst Thing for Humanity

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

What is the worst thing that can happen to people? When their leader is not good. When he is not on the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and not afraid of Allāh ﷻ, it is the worst thing. This is bad for both for a small community and a big community, for the whole country and for the whole world. Why so? People like that had lived in old times as well. When a person’s got a chance for his ego and he follows his ego, he becomes like a Pharaoh. He becomes like Nimrod. He doesn’t compromise at all. It is said in Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n, “Fa'awradahumu An-Nāra◌ Wa Bi'sa Al-Wirdu Al-Mawrūd”, “And will lead them into the Fire, and evil indeed is the place to which they are led.” (Qur’ān 11:98). They were taken to hell. People like this make something up as they like for people who follow them. They say, "I chose this way for you. You have to follow this way" like Pharaoh. Pharaoh and Nimrod were killing, hanging and cutting those who didn’t obey them. The same has happened now. And it is happening. Who does so doesn’t have any benefit. He has no benefit to himself, no benefit to his nation and humanity.

More people like that have emerged in the last century after the Ottomans. Because there is nothing facing them. All of them are like each other. Before, there was the Sulṭān of Islām in front of them. There was the greatness, justice and mercy of Islām. They removed all of that. Everyone resembles each other now. All people who didn’t want that Sulṭān are in the biggest loss. They are in such loss that they haven’t recovered yet. They are still cheated. Many people still don’t feel regret. “We won. We got freedom” and so on. You’ve got freedom, but you’ve lost value. When you don’t have your humane value, what is the benefit of freedom? The value of people in the presence of Allāh ﷻ is in showing mercy, compasssion and goodness. Only the Sulṭān was doing it. But they removed him. And then the whole world is filled with oppression, badness and injustice. The person who came to lead the nation put them in the worst situation. He took out humanity. He left neither mind, nor adab, nor manners. There is nothing left. He did that.

Whoever goes astray, may Allāh ﷻ protect us, who follows them have the worst end. The worst thing is the fire and hell. And if they know it as test and don’t go to that way, people who go on Allāh’s ﷻ way will be saved. “We don’t follow them. We cannot do anything. We don’t approve what’s done. We are on the side of Haqq. We want to be like Allāh ﷻ wants.” You should say so. In shā’a Llāh then we will reach Mahdī ‘alayhi ssalām. This is important. This worldly situation won’t last. Never has this world remained the same. Therefore, there’ll surely be regret, and something different and better will come, in shā’a Llāh.
