Know That Allāh ﷻ Does What He ﷻ Wants

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

‘Fa’’ālun Limā Yurīdu’, ‘Effecter of what He intends.’ (Qur’ān 85:16). Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. He ﷻ does what He ﷻ wants, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says in the āyah karīmah. He ﷻ doesn’t ask anyone, “What should I do?” He ﷻ does whatever He ﷻ wants. Therefore, asking, “Why did this happen? Why is this happening?” is of no benefit to anyone. However, if one’s asking for good [intention], then one can ask, “What’s its wisdom?” But asking “Why?” as an objection or so brings no benefit. It brings nothing but harm. Harm, because it becomes a habit, objecting to everything. Not accepting everything. When one doesn’t accept, it destroys and ends their īmān. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.

Allāh ﷻ has made everything beautiful, created everything beautifully. Of course, since dunyā is a place of test, some things are good for the believer. But for the nonbeliever, it is not good. Even if it’s the best thing, when it’s for the non-believer, it’s not for their own good, it’s not for their benefit. It’s something given by Allāh ﷻ so that they become more wicked, they do more evil, so that, “ 3 ”, “Wa Namuddu Lahu Mina Al-`Adhābi Maddāan”, “And extend for him from the punishment extensively.” (Qur’ān 19:79). So that they are in more suffering. So that they attain more punishment. Sometimes, for the unbeliever, it is not a blessing but an evil. Blessing is for the believer. Everything, what’s good or what seems as bad, is good for the believer. For the unbeliever, even if it’s the best thing, it is of no benefit to him; Allāh ﷻ opens the way for them to become more wicked, to do more evil.

Just as the current state of the world, people might think that everything is in the hands of the wicked. But everything is in the Hand of Allāh ﷻ. Allāh ﷻ opens the way for them to suffer more severely for what they have done. Do more evil, commit more injustice, so that you will receive even more punishment. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. Therefore, as we said, do not be someone who constantly objects and complains, is

always contrary and opposed. What Allāh ﷻ says will happen: it is necessary to know that. A person with īmān must know that. May Allāh ﷻ grant us all true īmān, in shā’a Llāh.
