True Happiness

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu alayhi wa sallam says in ḥadīth sharīf,

“Idkhālu s-surūr fi l-qalbi l-Mumin”, “Bringing joy to the heart of the believer.” Bringing joy to the heart of a believer is one of the most beloved deeds to Allāh ﷻ.

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, this journey has brought joy, beauty, and happiness to both us and our brothers. What kind of joy? Joy for the sake of Allāh ﷻ. They are seeking Allāh’s ﷻ pleasure. Therefore, Allāh ﷻ grants them peace and beauty in their hearts. This cannot be found in anything else. Joy for other worldly things does not enter the heart. What enters the heart is the love of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and the love of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Other love and happiness is something that appeals to the ego. That is not acceptable; it is false. What gives peace to the heart is the love of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and the righteous. That is what gives true happiness to a person’s heart.

In shā’a Llāh, this was a journey done for the sake of Allāh ﷻ. It brought peace to our hearts, and may it bring peace to their hearts, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ be pleased with all our brothers, they showed us hospitality. They were together and with us as much as they could. May Allāh ﷻ reward them. May we all have happiness in this world and the hereafter, in shā’a Llāh.
