Submit to the Absolute Doer

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

‘Fa’’ālun Limā Yurīdu’, ‘Effecter of what He intends.’ (Qur’ān 85:16). Jalla Jalāluh. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the One Who does whatever He ﷻ wills. What He ﷻ wills is what happens. As the poet said: “Mevla’m görelim neyler, Neylerse güzel eyler”, “Let’s see what God does. Whatever He ﷻ does He ﷻ does it best.” He says, “Watch.” That’s the situation now. People say, “The world is collapsing,” but everything happens by the decree of Allāh ﷻ, by the command of Allāh ﷻ. Nothing can be done by your hand, or our hand, or anyone’s hand. He ﷻ does what He ﷻ wants. “Fa’’āl” means the Absolute Doer, the one who does everything, who accomplishes everything exactly and only as He ﷻ wills. Nothing can stand against His ﷻ will, nothing can stand in the way of His ﷻ will.

Therefore, Islām is submission. You must submit to Allāh ﷻ. There’s no need to overthink, “What will I do?”; what is meant to happen, happens. What Allāh ‘Azza waJalla wills and says, happens. Therefore, be with Him ﷻ. We should be with Allāh ﷻ so that He ﷻ may have mercy on us and bestow His ﷻ beneficence upon us. There is no need for worry or fear. He ﷻ is Arhamu r-Rāhimin, the Most Merciful of the Merciful. There is no one more merciful than Him ﷻ. Even if humankind possesses everything, mercy is the will of Allāh ﷻ Himself. It is one of the beautiful attributes of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. The attribute of Allāh Jalla Jalāluh is The Most Merciful.

Therefore, a Muslim has surrendered everything to Allāh ﷻ. His ﷻ will, with Allāh’s ﷻ permission, is beneficial to the Muslim. For the non-Muslim, it is torment and punishment. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May we be at rest, in shā’a Llāh. For the one who surrenders, everything in life comes and goes easily. For the one who does not surrender, there is constant torment, suffering, and discomfort. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May Allāh ﷻ protect us all, in shā’a Llāh.

Wa min Allāhi t-Tawfīq. Al-Fātiḥa.
